Congressional investigations are heating up for the Hillary email scandal.

Now we learn that 3 IT guys close to the situation are being called in to talk.

One is somebody who allegedly deleted Hillary's final batch.

Somebody named Paul Combetta was the wiper even though Congress had a stop order in place.

He originally said "nothing" until he was given immunity, then he sang like a canary.

Wonder what these people will say now?

New Hillary e-mail scandal mystery: DoJ granted immunity to tech who wiped server; Update: “Fishy,” says Denver Post

Don’t grants of immunity usually signal a serious intent to prosecute if crimes are uncovered? If so, then the Department of Justice appears to have wasted its time with both Bryan Pagliano and now Paul Combetta, the man who wiped the e-mail files off of Hillary Clinton’s secret server. The New York Times reveals this arrangement for the first time — and how it might keep Congress from delving further into the DoJ’s curious lack of action:

A computer specialist who deleted Hillary Clinton’s emails despite orders from Congress to preserve them was given immunity by the Justice Department during its investigation into her personal email account, according to a law enforcement official and others briefed on the investigation.

Republicans have called for the department to investigate the deletions, but the immunity deal with the specialist, Paul Combetta, makes it unlikely that the request will go far. Representative Jason Chaffetz of Utah, the top Republican on the House oversight committee, asked the Justice Department on Tuesday to investigate whether Mrs. Clinton, her lawyers or the specialist obstructed justice when the emails were deleted in March 2015.

In February, Combetta told the FBI that he had no recollection of deleting the files. By May, with an immunity grant in hand, Combetta changed his tune. Not only did he recall deleting the files, Combetta knew that Congress had issued a preservation order to prevent just that outcome..........

House Committee Subpoenas Clinton Tech Specialists

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on Friday subpoenaed three technicians connected to Hillary Clinton’s private email server, a week after FBI notes revealed that aides attempted to delete an archive of Clinton’s emails just three weeks after the existence of the private server was first reported. The attempt was also made after the archive was requested by congressional investigators. The technicians—Paul Combetta, Bill Thornton, and Bryan Pagliano—were ordered by Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the chairman of the committee, to testify at a House hearing on Tuesday.

I have a sick feeling some poor ole IT guys are going to be the ones thrown under the bus, and Hillary will walk away without a scratch. I can almost guarantee that they will never find a written order with her name on it telling them to delete anything. She issues orders through surrogates like Cheryl Mills. Just like a mafia boss, she is always two or three degrees from the dirty deed.

There are times when she is 1 degree away from the deed, and that is when people end up committing suicide.

There was no reason to grant immunity. FBI had the server. They knew who was responsible for it and what software was used to clean it along with when those scrubs happened. Should have locked them up and only lessen the sentence if they revealed something useful. They did not do this on their own. Someone ordered it. The purpose of granting immunity is to catch the bigger fish. We got nothing out of it.

Looks to me like they pardoned all the people who could prove Hillary acted with intent.

"Could be, might have been, gonna get her this time ... "

LOL.

Director Comey, has stated, clearly and on the record, that no emails were intentionally deleted to conceal.

He made this statement after an 18 month, in-depth, investigation.

The Republican Congress is going to continue to waste the time and money of the American people on their political snipe hunt.

There is nothing new here. They'll be interviewing the trash collectors next. Then by-standers walking on the street outside Clinton's home.

I expect astrologers, ala Nancy Reagan, at some point.

Must be nice living in a dream world. It is transparent to everyone besides you though. Enjoy the dream while you can, I expect you will eventually wake up to a well deserved nightmare.

I work in reality, Mr. (or Ms.) Corruption ... I wouldn't know about dream worlds ... aside from the ones that Trump acolytes seem to be continually lost in.

"Transparent to everyone besides me" ... that's ridiculous. I'm the only one that knows what Director Comey stated? You're full of it.

"Well deserved nightmare" well you might get your wish ... but only if somehow America is stupid enough to elect Donald J. Trump.

Now ... care to address any actual facts instead of silly, off-topic, comments about me? My statement about what Comey said, the results of that investigation, etc. etc. etc.

Neither I nor anyone else cares about your opinion of me or any other poster. Do you have anything factual or on-topic to offer?

Neither guilt or innocence has been proven as there was no trial, only an investigation.
The investigation was enough to prove Hillary is a liar and broke the rules.

Let's look at what you just claimed ... there's no proof of guilt or innocence ... but you know she's a liar and a rule-breaker.

Because ... you just know.

Director Comey, who also "just knows" but with 18 months of a wide-scale Federal INVESTIGATION backing up his comments, stated clearly that no emails were deleted to conceal.

You pick and choose which INVESTIGATIONS you choose to believe.

Key word: believe.

No, the is no proof of guilt or innocence relating to an intent to bypass national security.
There is proof she is a liar and broke the rules.

There is no clear evidence she intended to do so and so is a whole lot different than there is no evidence. He isn't saying she didn't, he's just saying they couldn't find clear evidence that she intended .....

He was very careful with how he worded it.

That's what they all say. "Not guilty" I didn't do it" "I'm not like that" etc. etc... Now that IS beating a dead horse.

He never said that, not even close and exactly the opposite.

That's why you just stated your twisted opinion of it,
not an factual record of his comments.
