Sorry I went quiet for a couple days - It was a rough week. Seemed like at the start of it I must've did something to incur a lot of bad luck: Injured
my hand while working on a trumpet, got run out of my lane by some moron who shouldn't have had their license, came close to being hit multiple times
by other drivers, fell on my leg a couple times while bowling, and decided to go for a walk on top of all of that. The only good thing (which came
after all these injuries took place), was that on the way home, I passed by a car that wouldn't move - Between me and the other guys, we were able to
move the car to a safer spot off the main road.
To make it complete - someone I knew for 4 years passed away suddenly, so I had to make the funeral yesterday. This was my second time being in a
funeral home, but what I didn't expect to find was that there was so much energy in the room and emotion that I actually couldn't stand it too long
(sometimes, when I go into places like this, the room will appear "foggy" to me). I was starting to get a headache, and the interesting thing was that
all of the lamps were the same make and model around the room...but one lamp in the corner was randomly flickering. I walked away from that area, and
after a couple minutes looked back to find the lamp not flickering anymore.
I left because while the impression I got wasn't hostile, it wasn't exactly encouraging me to stay (this person and myself never saw eye-to-eye on
several things; I can only guess this would have carried to the grave as well). As usual, the "fog" and feelings went away as soon as I was back in
the parking lot.
How's everyone doing?
