I plan on picking up one while I'm there, hopefully authentic.

Also, for Christmas, everyone on my list is getting steins!

Crappiekat
Hahahahaha.
How fast does she go when you open her up?

Uhm... not very!! LOL
The "official" top speed is 74mph and I think Tiddles is probably still capable of that now that I've sorted out the Ignition, but it gets bouncy and scary above 65!!! ROFL

JDeLattre89
Gordi, that is a beautiful machine.

Thanks JD!
It is a cute wee thing, you wouldn't believe how many complete strangers stop to smile and wave at us.
There's a great Morris Minor club scene, websites and spare parts supply chain too which is a real bonus.

Thats a sweet little car you have.
In 1974 i bought a 1966 MG Midget, with a 1967 Austin Healy 1275 motor in it. I loved that thing and wish I still had it

Hey there VBT!
Yeah the Midget was a wee beauty too! Much sportier than the Minor...

Lots of Minor owners seem to have retro-fitted a version of the 1275 motor too?
Mine still has the original 1098cc A-Series in it and it's surprisingly "peppy" now that it's running well.

Would you ever return to owning a Classic Morris/MG?

kindest regards,
BigG

This was taken yesterday when I took him for a test run up the back roads here...

That's about 2 miles from my house!

My 2nd car was a 76 Triumph Spitfire. Banana yellow. I will dig up some pics if I can find them. A million memories in that car!
