You were so strong back in 1879,
I miss the moments swinging off bales of hay.

Dropping off the ceiling into your straw,
Even the horses miss living inside of you.

This time my friend it will change,
The craft of fixing you up will be fun.

New red bright colored paint,
I am even getting you a new roof.

The seasons even know to help us,
I can't imagine life without you.

Your big barn doors are being replaced,
The hindges are made of hardened copper.

The lights inside are now even led,
I promise you old friend I will never neglect you again...
