It's sad I even have to create a thread about this topic. It is a very simple, cut and dry case.

The issue: Did Trump support the Iraq war?
Reality: Yes
Trump: No.

Trump isn't backing down, he is still trying to defend his position saying that he ALWAYS opposed the war in Iraq.

That's all well and good Mr. Trump...but we have these things called "recordings".

Here is Trump in 2002 on the Howard Stern show BEFORE the Iraq War.

I know I shouldn't be surprised that Trump supporters are trying to defend him on this...but I honestly am. I mean, it is right there...Trump's own words...he supported it.

So why is this even up for debate?

Then why dedicate a thread to it if it isn't worth a debate?

How long till Hillary is brought up???

Aside from this post obviously. Ahh screw it.

Trump is a flipflopper.

But... I'll say it before someone else does...
Didn't Hillary vote for the Iraq War?

I'd say that's worse.

God it's so hard not supporting either of these trash bags.

If I hadn't made this post as I did, I'd be accused of supporting one or the other.

Trump, you're an invalid.

Not only but he wasn't even a politician back then, didn't have anything to do wth it. And maybe was duped like the rest of us by all the lies from Washington told to us by the news media.

Why can't any of them just own up and admit that at the time it seemed like the right thing to do. That's not a flip flop. Stuff changes. And who knew how long this debacle was going to go on? Bet most thought it would have been over in a year.

Thank you, I wasn't sure he did support that insanity and withheld judgment till I would come across a recording of him falling for that sand trap.

The other one may be taking responsibility for her decision, but I bet she'll repeat that mistake and possibly worse.

Have we really come down to an egotistical 5th grader verses a pathological liar warhawk?

Because I've seen people on here claim that Trump is the greatest man ever and never lies.

I've also seen people deny this very fact...that Trump didn't support the Iraq War.

You're a Trump supporter...what is your opinion on this?

Trump is a great man. This is an email(paraphrased) sent to his tower/campaign:

Trump I will defend you till I die, but quit making it so expletively difficult.

I think a lot of supporters could agree with that.

It's the fact that he is denying he ever said it that is being discussed, Intrepid.

He is a liar. And his Cult denies that daily!!!

Hence the thread.

No it's not. Back then the nation wanted revenge. If one believes that revenge was good or just a political move at the time, things have changed in 15 years.

It's the fact that he is denying he ever said it that is being discussed, Intrepid.

That's my point. Why deny what everyone wanted at the time?

Things have changed, including Trump's stance. Flipflop.

Everyone???

You can't be serious.

So in 2002, perhaps 'right' after 9/11, he made that wishy washy "I guuuueeess, so...." statement. They were already laying on the Iraq did it kind arguments pre-2002. And I'd expect that New Yorkers were (understandably) more set for REVENGE at the time too. Hell, who in here wasn't at the time?

Of course the bigger issue is, that's a tiny little excerpt from the interview. Where's the rest of it at?

This is too humorous. 😂😂😂

Compare Trump's lies to Hillary's? S.E.R.I.O.U.S.L,Y.?

How does she lie to thee, let me count the ways...

So in some morning radio show; when he was their to shoot the breeze with a guy who aske's his guests if he can smell their fingers... when asked "do you support the war" he answers with the most unenthusiastic "I guess so" I ever heard and this some how puts him on part with Clinton who actually voted to go to war in Iraq?

I'm someone you dragged into this.

You dragged you to snarky by yourself. Do you have proof you weren't fooled at the time?

I don't think it really counts.

Any pics of him at a protest?

He was a private citizen and still is.

They were all for it before they were against it but they were the ones with the vote.
