I have a MacBook Pro, and am addicted to staying up-to-speed with current events and happenings in the world. Does anyone have suggestions for a News Aggregator I could purchase (or safely download for free)? I would be willing to pay an extra pretty penny for one with more functionality or effectiveness.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks ATS

feedly.com...

Has a plugin for chrome or Firefox

If that's what you're looking for (I think it's an RSS type thing you want ?)

News Republic use to be great but it went total left wing when the election started. Great format but the slant is officious on politics. It's so bad some of the articles call Trump a racist in the footnotes. Everything is is good though so I kept it..sports, entertainment, general news.

I don't understand why it keeps saying Sorry. No feed found. Please try searching for another url, title or #topic.

It's not like I'm searching for microscopic, insignificant topics. Any tips for me? I watched a Youtube video about Feedly but that also didn't help

Maybe they aren't giving me full results because I haven't upgraded to "Pro" membership for $5.60 a month?

I don't know sorry, I don't use it myself so have no clue about it being better with "pro" but a few friends use it with no problems, maybe it's the search strings you're using ?

Maybe try another one from this list?

There's also manually doing it via www.rsssearchhub.com...

I use a brilliant one on my iphone called "smart news" It pulls news from a couple of hundred different sources, and you can add or delete as many as you like, not sure if its available for the mac, but definitely worth having on your phone.

There's only one you really need: MediaMonarchy.com
Sadly, you wouldn't even have to pay a dime. Support would be nice though.

No, I'm not that guy. I just have to spread his work now and you already know Corbett.
