You want to hear something really strange about Ohio. I was out in the foothills down south about 20 some years ago, way out dirt roads lumber land. Lo and Behold I ran smack into an Arab logging camp! All the guys on skidders where Arabic, the sign on the yard was in Arabic. Thats was before first Gulf War and there are Amish around those parts as well.

Why was it strange to you thatArabs were logging and had a camp ?

I spent a couple yrs in Findlay IL. just south of Decatur.

They were all around the area.

My friends brother was killed one night from hitting a horse and buggy with no reflector on the back.

The kid riding the buggy was drunk, he lived. Horse was killed too. Friggin shame.

That was a problem around there. Dark 2 lane roads, black buggy, no lights on it.

Some of the buggies are pretty cool tho. Seen them from Mattoon to Collinsville.

I didn't get to know any of them tho. We had a group of men that would have biz meetings and dinner about once a month.

They were Mennonites and apparently involved with a large candy brand.

Fun times in the corn, 20ya.
