Another thing I have learned here is that while I seem to get along with most everyone here, ATS is not a microcosm of social media. I have failed to be productive or even a viable entity on other forums.

I've learned that everything and anything is worth a discussion.

Also, there is not a depth of inhumanity some topics can go!

I've learned there are more douche bags on ATS than one previously believed possible.

But there's a lot of nice people too, they know who they are.

I've always been a "people watcher". I think that ATS has taught me to have a voice.

I have also learned that someone who you thought you had nothing in common may be the only one left standing on your side. Treat everyone the way you would want to be treated!! Seems simple but I see many that don't post by this rule...

Question anything and everything; but sometimes it really is exactly what it seems to be. I think this is a very fine line we walk. I have been sucked into many a rabbit hole only to find out I was chasing my own tail (tale).

One thing ATS has taught me?

That ANYTHING is possible, if we DARE to BELIEVE...and REACH for the STARS!

I have learnt many things on my journey with ATS, but one that does come immediately to mind is that when discussing an intellectual topic or controversial issue, it's better to admit you are wrong and acknowledge this than it is to continue to lie to yourself and others in an effort to hide your mistakes.

We are not perfect beings and will slip up from time-to-time when we try to apply logic and reason to and cite facts in our discussions.

There are many things ATS has taught me, but the one thing that really stands out is that everyone is full of doo doo.
