What's wrong with wanting Turkey to stop cracking down on dissidents...
What's wrong with wanting Saudi Arabia to stop beheading people...
What's wrong with wanting China to do away with slave labour...
What's wrong with wanting to put an end to Corporate tax havens...

You did perfectly illustrate why in the current age true multicultural Globalism CAN'T work.

Good list

Mankind has a long way to go. The best you can do short of imperialism is use the 'Global Village Network' (the Internet) and try to communicate with people in such places and inspire them to rise up and do smething about all that kind of stuff. Although I dont see that happening in the Middle East any time soon, especially not when all the moderates are being shipped out of there (EU, etc) the people that should be stand up to extremism when they leave that's all there will be.

Now that it's beyond abundantly clear that Progressivism is totally anti-Nationalist (love for ones nation), and totally pro-Globalist (obsession with making the whole world one big nation [or is it non-nation,I dunno]), I cannot see much potential for there being any other way to take this issue than Progressive's are truly anti-American.

When did Pro-American mean you have to be Nazi-level nationalistic and xenophobic? When did it become Anti-American to want to work together with other countries around the world?

I completely disagree with the concept of the OP.

There's this totally retarded mentality out there that if I'm in favor of equality, empathy, education and healthcare for all, affordable wages, it means I'm Anti-American. Caring about the well-being of fellow Americans who are struggling is Anti-American?

Sorry, I just see the new right-wing uneducated Alt-Right DICTATING what it means to be American.

This post was meant to be framed all around the pro-globalism + anti-nationalism stance that ave been the big noise lately. I edited it help remove the confusion, but your long post you might have already been busy writing while I was doing that. So apologies for not being clear from the get and have you waste your time if that was the case.

What does any of that have to do with the points in my posts? How is wanting all Americans to have equal rights a "big govt, central planning, utopian fiasco"?

All Americans DO have equal rights.

Seeing you work across the thread it really looks like you've been working hard to derail. If so that's very disappointing.

BS The very first sentence in your OP includes this:

Now that it's beyond abundantly clear that Progressivism is totally anti-Nationalist (love for ones nation)

And this:

I cannot see much potential for there being any other way to take this issue than Progressive's are truly anti-American.

That's what I started responding to. You flat out said that progressivism is anti-American, so I starting listing progressive policies that help Americans.

Very disappointed. It was abundantly clear it was framed around Globalism. You just quoted me as such.

Apparently I was correct, as you were the one I was counting on the most to make this make sense.

Well globalization is anti American as far as progressives this is only one part of the platform. Not all there ideas is bad by any means. But globalization is a problem it results in a huge in increase in the accumulation of global wealth for the few and a corresponding decrease in the relative income for the majority. Don't kid yourself this isn't about achieving some great world peace or something. Its about money it allows people to accumulate far more wealth simply because the market is bigger. Meaning more wealth goes to the top few. Nationalism for example a country making there own rules and policing there borders interrupts this flow of capitol. Good example is Russia people like Soros would love to in EST in Russia. Problem is they worried the control the state has over the business.

You can't say progressives are anti American you can say that there country is not a priority and there goals is more towards humanity as a whole. But the policies that they use can be highly destructive to societies globalization being one of them. You only need to look at Greece to see what run away socialism causes. In a balanced society socialism and capitalism should be intermixed you need money but you also need compassion. This used to be achieved by compromises we are just in an era where no one compromises anymore.

Seems pretty obvious to me as well. Let's see who comes on here to supply you with a rebuttal. I'd be interested in the contortions created from the mental gymnastics involved in the responses.

i'm seeing this type of response to threads more and more....you automatically set-up any response as being illegitimate due to some type of "contortions and mental gymnastics". just because you may not like the responses to what is said, doesn't make them invalid or untrue.....
