Oh, but no, I did answer your question. The US forces are claiming to have a high moral ground, while the "insurgents" are fighting for freedom.

Ahh, I see where the problem is. You are proceeding under the false assumption that freedom is what the insurgents are fighting for. They are not, they are fighting to run that country the way they want it, ie stict adherence to muslim law, etc, etc.

Make no mistake about it, the insurgents are fighting for less freedom than what we are trying to give the Iraqis.

It is unfortunate that this had to happen, but as many of the previous posts have determined, we have signs, and checkpoints and warning signs all over the place.

Our boys are doing the best they can under very random conditions.Trust me when I say, Not a damm one of them ever wants to kill any family just for the hell of it.

We went in, whether right or wrong, and now we have to re-establish peace. If we dont, Civil war and outrageous carnage would result; Making our entrance into Iraq look like Fischer Price...unfortunately at the hand of their own people.

Now we see Sadaams plight. Not quite so peachy with a strong willed culture fuled by religioin.

Let's see here, you don't want CNN, but you'll take the likes of National-Socialism?! LMAO. Do pray tell how your 'findings' nullify all the points I have made? You contest only two: Foreign fighters/terrorist coming in from Iran and Syria.

I wasn't aware of any points you made; you stated some statistics without substantial proof. You just proved your own myopia.

You have one mans 'confession' in regards to funds being allocated towards terrorist activities. That's hardly reason to invade Iran, is it?

Well HIFIGUY said it all for me, ground troops have no time to figure out whats in the car speeding towards them and its too bad that Souljah can't see this...otherwise he may have thought twice about posting this thread.

Its all too easy to post pictures of bleeding babies to make our soldiers look bad, but Ill give our boys the benefit of the doubt.

Souljah:
Next you will start calling them baby killers, right? What in the hell do you believe in without having someone point out for you?

i have posted this topic, this thread for one purpose:

for all of you to see the face of war:
blood, tears and bullets.

nothing more, nothing less.

if you still belive that the u.s. forces are valiantly helping the iraqi people, well that is your problem and your point of view.
i am sorry, but i do not share that view.

but then again,
accidents happen right?
maybe it was just one of those days...

how many tragedies like that occure every day, we have no idea, since the information blockade is far to powerfull for news to pour out. but considering all the checkpoints in iraq, i belive that number is pretty high...
