I lived on the border. I seriously researched this wall in-depth.

I know how much has been done over the last 8 years to secure the southern border and entry points.

This would be a massive, exorbitantly expensive, and completely unrealistic project.

And that's only the southern border.

We have 2 extensive coastal borders too (plus northern). Submarines anyone?

Yeah if they had to use submarines to transport drugs across the border rather than loading up a truck then it's a huge win for both countries.

I'm one of those that wants the drugs to stop coming. Trumps wall will be 40 ft tall and tunnel proof he claims.

That's not an easy thing to get through, planes and subs are more expensive and easier to catch.

The wall won't and can't only be on the American side. The geography and terrain make it next to impossible to build on just one side. Unless we decide to dam the Rio Grand of course. It has to be a dual effort like Trump has said oh about a thousand times to date. Like when he threatened economic sanctions if they refused to negotiate. Yet it seems to slip past all you. Mexico would pay for their side just like we would pay for ours.

You also need to keep up.

Building that wall across private land will be tied up in the courts for decades and by that time Trump will have been forgotten into the scrap heap of fools.

Sure, if America wants a wall built who's stopping us? We have every right to build one. Did this go over Trump supporters heads? The Mexican President clearly made it a point of not saying Mexico will pay for it!


What would have been HUGE is if the Mexican President would have said "yes we'll pay for it, and by the way how high do you want it?"
