I thought she was a great debater. Why not just go into the debates and stomp Trump on the issues? We already know how to set off Trump. Everyone watched the primary debate. Sixteen people got under his skin, he came back with unsavory comments, and he dispatched them all. I think it's a mistake on Hillary's part. Instead of highlighting her supposedly superior knowledge of the issues, she seems to be expending all her time on debate prep on what makes Trump tick. I think it will turn a lot of people off to her if she spends her time trying to elicit Trump tantrums than how to improve working people's lives and demonstrating the poise and gravitas it takes to occupy the office.

Hillary Clinton’s advisers are talking to Donald J. Trump’s ghostwriter of “The Art of the Deal,” seeking insights about Mr. Trump’s deepest insecurities as they devise strategies to needle and undermine him in four weeks at the first presidential debate, the most anticipated in a generation.

Her team is also getting advice from psychology experts to help create a personality profile of Mr. Trump to gauge how he may respond to attacks and deal with a woman as his sole adversary on the debate stage.

Is she really going to go the traditional route of attack? Did she not watch any of the Republican primary? If she really wants to stoop down to his level, she has to be senile.

Stoop down to his level? All she does is fling racism accusations around. I haven't seen anything of substance from her "scripted" town halls. And I'm sure you're well aware she hasn't had a press conference in just about forever.

Short and to the point... She's scared. She knows she can't debate him on the issues, she can't defend her email scandal and she knows she can't lie about the FBI report, with him standing there to call her on it, so she's pulling out all the stops to find some way, any way, to make him look bad.
Why would anyone, who could actually debate him on the issues, go to this much trouble? She's on the run and desperate.

What better way to win a debate than to make your opponent lose it on stage? It's not like Trump would be any sort of challenge at a debate so why not have fun with him.

Trump is doing press conferences and talking to just about anyone who wants to talk to him....while Hillary hides and hasn't done a press conference in how long? The one she did do, was loaded with nothing but "friendlies" who soft balled the whole thing. When she was hit with a hard question, she stuffed her mouth with chocolate and refused to answer.
Why is she doing this, instead of brushing up on the issues? Someone is running scared and it ain't Trump.

Bottom line, I think she's scared sh!tless to share the stage with Trump. He knows she'll out-debate him on the issues, so he'll use the kitchen-sink approach where he'll expose every closeted skeleton of her unethical career. As Obama ruined her rise to the office in '08, all the pressure is on her now to get by Trump. She knows it won't be the soft glove treatment she got when she debated Bernie. This is all a desperation move on her part.

Hillary is old and senile. She's going to lose her cool when trump starts talking about her failures, scandals and "short circuits"

Ummm, he 'lost it' at every one of the primary debates from his comments to Megyn Kelley in the first one to what he said about Ted Cruz's father at the end. He dispatched with all challengers, including a female, Carly Fiorina.

I would have loved to hear Jon Stewart's take on the Daily Show when that happened, on this whole election cycle; but alas, he's done there for some time. Then when the debates come, rip into both of them.

Steph Curry is a great basketball player...doesn't mean he doesn't practice and prepare for his opponents.

If your opponent has a known weakness, it is smart to exploit it.

She's hiding? Really? Kind of hard to hold rallies if a person is hiding isn't it? Talk about hiding how fast did Donnie hide from a debate with Bernie?

Let's see a hard ball interview with Trump.

When she was hit with a hard question, she stuffed her mouth with chocolate and refused to answer.

At least that was way nicer than what Trump did when he was hit with a hard question. Imply the person that asked the question was on her period and continue to attack that person.

True but he isn't running against other Republicans now is he? What happened after he ran his mouth like he did with Megyn? His popularity dropped. That could mean potential votes for Hillary.

What do you think Donnie will do when Hillary lists his failures, scandals and his connections with Russia?

Hillary does the same thing, she's so scared.

Because that is where Trump is weak, so she might expect the Donald to resort to baiting and personal attacks. She wants to fully understand his MO and be prepared for the type of attacks he will launch.

LOL

I imagine the bulk of Trump debate prep is making him recite a list of words he can't call Hillary and him pushing back.."Really???!!...How am I supposed to legitimately debate a woman if I can't say the B or C words!??"

There is no "false image" to be restored??

That is the lesson that Trump hasn't learned yet. She is already a faulted candidate, the public is painstakingly fully aware of every tiny misdeed due to the GOP magnifying glass and loudspeaker over the past four years in anticipation for this....and yet still..she is crushing Trump in polls.

The GOP's anti-Hillary bubble has prevented them from smelling the exhaustion the public has with Hillary "scandals"...while Trump creates brand new fresh ones weekly.

Hillary scandals are boring...Trumps scandals are racy and fresh.

Substance on issues is where Hillary will pivot, because that is Trump's weakness...details, policy and focus.
