Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt seemed like a real couple to me in Castaway. I can't think of another film where I felt like I was watching a real-life couple to the extent I did in that film. It's a great tribute to the actors because there have been cases when real-life couples played couples in movies. I think Tom Hanks and Helen Hunt were more believable than any such case that I've seen.

I think Helen Hunt is fabulous, however if I remember correctly, her amount of air time in the movie was relatively short. However, I loved the movie.

One of my faves for movie couples is Clint Eastwood and Meryl Streep in "The Bridges of Madison County". I think they really connected and especially at the end.........was she or wasn't she gonna jump out of her husbands truck and run to Clint? Of course we know the answers. But, I think one of the best coupling of actors in a movie.

Not exactly a couple though were they? More clandestine lovers than a true couple.
