Not every state makes you declare a party. Here in Virginia for instance. So I guess it wouldn't be attempted here.

You can't submit a ballot and have it rejected later. They look you up when you show up to vote.
What would taking people off the registration accomplish? It would have to be done wide scale I mean thousands of counties in every state to effect the outcome and any issue with registration on a scale like that would probably bring the election to a halt.
Look how much attention some lost books in Brooklyn caused during the N.Y. primaries. And that was a small amount of voters who were shut out.
To take out a significant number of an opponents votes would cause a hugh stir . It would be obvious immediately.

There are only a limited number of completely electronic votes. Most states have a paper back up. Most are counted by an on-site scanner or are transported to a scanner location. This is not an online tally. So they can't be deleted.
The lever type machines of old have not been used in six years in the US.

Donald trump is the only one worried about election rigging.
This is about stealing identities. Probably not even for voter fraud. The info in a voter registration includes name, address, social security number, date of birth. You don't need more than that to begin a successful identity theft. .
There are too many voting machines too many districts too many people watching out to effectively execute a rigged election.
It's simply not possible.

Hbo aired a documentary called hacking democracy that you should check out.

Just a coincidence that finding proof of voter fraud in these state primaries would greatly interest Sanders supporters.

Provisional ballots are not counted until the voter sees the provisional clerk by a deadline with full ID.
They would not count even then if the voter had been wiped from the voter rolls that the provisional clerk references.

In Kentucky they are turned over to the election commission for examination.
The printed voter rolls from earlier years can't be wiped out. All that is necessary is to look at the voter rolls for the previous election.
Don'tcha think they would notice if great numbers of one party or the other was wiped from the voter rolls? The printed voter rolls are hard copies with the actual voter signatures. No way to make them magically disappear short of burning down the facility housing them.

Actually you can if the ballots are challenged in a close election.
And yes they look you up when you show up to vote. If you have been deleted from the voter rolls...there is issue.

Correct..it would be mayhem...and in a climate where the Republican Nominee has warned the elections might be rigged and already questioned the legitimacy of the elections.

Maybe...
And I don't know the end game...
but multiple FBI sources have already suggested this is Russians..
I even read that one of the IP addresses that went out on the FBI alert to state election heads (from the IL or AZ) hack was identical to an IP associated with the DNC hacks.
And I know there is much lower hanging fruit for identity theft than the voter rolls...and hacks that would not risk the FBI freaking out.

So I don't fully know the end game and can only speculate, but I don't think this is identity theft and all signs point to Russia.

Maybe just making mayhem of the elections and throwing the outcome into doubt is a sufficient win for them.

If your name isn't on the voter roll where you normally vote, in Kentucky you are given a provisional ballot. Once the voter proves registration before the election commission, the ballots are counted. Yes, it could cause issues and time for the voters and the election officials but the votes are still counted. Voter rolls are still kept in hard copy, simply wiping the database wouldn't work the way you seem to think it would.

Of course they're going to say "It's the Russians!" because the current administration, for some unknown reason, wants to start a war with Russia. In order to do so, they must demonize the country they want to destroy. (Remember the stories about Saddam eating babies in incubators or some such nonsense? And all the other dictators we supported until we decided to overthrow them?)
I suspect it is because Putin looks like a real leader and has been able to stabilize and grow their economy despite the US's efforts to derail. Could be because he actually studied economics and the rebuilding of Europe and the USSR after WWII.
The easy way to avoid anyone skewing the election is paper ballots and proper supervision of the counting. I have no problem with the ballot scanners but the actual ballots should be counted as well. That could easily be done before the official validation of the election.
In Kentucky every ballot printed must be accounted for at the end of the day. Hard to stuff ballot boxes that way.

Nope...The FBI has said it is the Russians, but so have multiple independent security specialists that examined and traced the hack.

Crowdstrike...the firm that analyzed the DNC hack and fingered Russia?

They also are responsible for the security at the Trump campaign. They are neutral...

The idea that fingering Russia is a political ploy is false in face of everyone of technical expertise that has examined the same evidence.

The FBI is under the authority of the administration. They will say what the administration wants them to say. For the life of me, I can't figure why the administration is poking the Bear and attempting to provoke Russia but it's clear that's exactly what they're trying to do.
I've no doubt that the hackers may have left "evidence" to point to the Russians and the techies fell for it.
You may believe that only truth, justice and light comes from this administration but I hold a different view---the same view I held of the last few administrations. They lie for their own selfish purposes and we are supposed to sit back and lap up their lies so the warmongers can profit from killing people who have done nothing to us.
