Here is something else to chew on. From a pretty good source:

www.militarytimes.com...

Unsurprisingly, the article states Trump has much higher support against Hillary Clinton amongst active military and veterans, which is something to be expected. Like I stated earlier, I won't vote for her. I'd sooner cut my hand off with a dull meat cleaver. She was widely hated as first lady when I was in by the troops, as was her draft dodging cigar-hiding husband. So naturally, her lack of popularity amongst the armed forces is unsurprising.

What IS surprising, however, is how much gap changes if you pit Trump against Sanders. I mean, Sanders still loses. However, the gap closes quite a bit. While only 25% of veterans polled would chose Clinton vs Trump, 38% would choose Sanders vs Trump. Which is pretty damned surprising given Sander's known socialist leanings, and as you know, socialists and military don't mix. That a socialist would even pop up on a military voting radar would have been unthinkable when I was in. Now? Nothing shocks me.

I'm even more bothered by the number of veterans planning on, or considering not voting at all. The least they could do is show up to the polls and write in Mickey Mouse or their cats as protest votes if they don't like any of the third party options. If nothing else. on the very principle of exercising the very rights they fought and sometimes got mangled to protect. We can't afford to be apathetic. Not now.

Did you really just quote a poll from Clinton News Network?

That may as well be just as bad as the polls from Faux.

Now you know why your request for information was ignored. You don't even deem to read the stuff put in front of you. I guess for future reference, I'll ignore your requests for evidence too. Clearly not worth my time.

PS: If you had just clicked on the link and applied some basic denial of ignorance instead of mouthing of with your dumb partisan slur you'd have seen this:

The survey, conducted by the Harvard University Institute of Politics, finds that in a hypothetical matchup, 61% of likely voters age 18-29 say they would vote for Clinton, while just 25% would vote for Trump. That's worse than most other recent Republican candidates for president.

ADA. Air Defense Artillery. Another Damned Army. Alcoholics defending America. Happy?

You can hang your phone up all you like. Many other people don't, so the polls aren't really that skewed. Phone polls aren't only data collection being used.

It's not just the polls. The election picture gets more complicated when you look at electoral maps, plus the high possibility of a Libertarian upset with Johnson. Johnson is set to pull a Perot in this election, as many Republicans who refuse to support Trump are voting for him instead.

And I'm still on the fence on whether or not Trump is a Clinton plant. Normally I'd write off such an accusation as the ramblings of the tin foil brigade, but given the history of Trump and the Clintons, and the curious state of the election, I am seriously beginning to wonder.

I will even give you an example of one of my observations. Both candidates have buttloads of dirt on each other. We are talking nuclear level stock piles of political dirt and ammo each candidate could start using on each other. I mean, honestly, I could run a better dirt campaign than either of these two, just on a simply google search alone. And as we all know, neither Trump or Clinton are ethical, moral people with any perceivable scruples. So dirt slinging and dirty campaigning is hardly beneath either of them. Yet their campaigns have been pretty weak in that respect. It certainly ain't out of decency. If anything, it's pretty damned out of character for both.

Nope. Nor is most of the country happy with him. But he no longer matters, because he's on his way out. His 8 years are up. He looks as happy as the rest of the country to be leaving too. Now he doesn't have to let stupid things like running the worlds most powerful country interfere with his golf game.

But I'm less happy with what's coming down the (sewer) pipes from either side.

Actually, that part isn't true. According to polls, his approval rating is consistently over 50%. In fact, in the 10 polls listed in this wikipedia entry, he has approval ratings over 50% in 7 polls, at 50% in 2 polls, and at 48% in the remaining poll.

If the polls are accurate and that is in fact the case....

Trump has an uphill battle against the dembs, and it points out the irrelevancy of the GOP once again.

Unfortunately, they have a lock on power at the local and State level. They use fake scandals & petty controversies to keep people distracted while they continue to consolidate power. And they use tactics like redistricting, ever changing voter ID laws, cuts to the number of polling stations, and cuts to the number of early voting days to keep the odds in their favor.

I thought that Obama's 2008 election with a super majority of Dems in both chambers of Congress marked the end of the Repub party. But wow, I was so wrong. So nope, I can't consider them irrelevant until they hold no State legislatures, no governorships, and have something like 10% of the members of Congress.

Approval ratings are a lot more complicated than a yay or nay, though. One does not have to believe Obama is a Devil worshiping baby eating Marxist Kenyan Muslim anti-christ to believe he's doing a less than stellar job, and been pretty disappointing over all.

The correlation that I was asking for evidence of was that Trump's supporters are mostly uneducated.

Your link, and the Harvard survey, did nothing to address that correlation.

As far as I am concerned this notion that most Trump supporters are poor and uneducated seems to be complete BS.

edit: I live in a pretty wealthy neighborhood (not that I am wealthy, I just live here) and there are Trump signs in front of multimillion dollar homes. In addition to that, I would say most of my clients this year have all been Trump supporters when it has come up.

So just speaking from my own personal experience here, Krazysh0t & MrSpad, I'm having a hard time following your logic.

Hey, you said most of the country isn't happy with him but provided no proof. So I pointed out that the closest thing to "proof" concludes the opposite.

Countering statistical evidence with anecdotal evidence? The cheapest trick in the book. If that flimsy evidence suffices for you then fine. Believe what you want, but don't come crying to me when you are severely disappointed come November.

Statistical theory wasn't just thought up yesterday you know? It has been proven MANY times over to be a good representation of how populations behave, but the losers in the polls usually like to grasp at anecdotes to reassure themselves that the boat isn't sinking.

Don't worry though. This isn't just a Republican or even a Trump supporter thing. Democrats have done it in the past too when they were losing in the polls.

So your response then, essentially, is that you don't have any evidence to correlate lack of education with support for Trump?

Got it.

Because when I think about it, the most uneducated voters I've met were all die hard Bernie supporters in the beginning. I know I know, more anecdotal evidence, blah blah.

Evidence? I already told you that you don't deserve to be given evidence anymore because it is a waste of my time. Did you think I forgot telling you that or something?

Yep. You nailed it there. More anecdotal evidence. Glad to see you let your biases dictate your worldview. It certainly reinforces my decision not to give you any contradictory evidence because your biases won't open your mind enough to actually read them honestly and unbiased.

I'm really getting SICK of GOP leadership rising up against their own candidate (Donald Trump) on a regular basis, but doing absolutely nothing to hurt Hillary's presidential campaign. By essentially giving Hillary a passive nod-of-approval, the GOP should be labeled as TRAITORS!

For instance, today, GOP leaders have fangs out again against Trump. This time, it's because he wants to work with Russia to defeat ISIS, and he says that PUTIN is a stronger leader than OBAMA.

Ref: www.msn.com...

In my opinion, Donald Trump is right. We can team up with bad-ass Russia to defeat ISIS. As for Putin being a stronger, more decisive leader than Obama, I have no idea. Have never followed Putin... or Russian politics.
