Well...so much for THAT experiment. Anyone questioning this post please read the OP first and you will understand. Since the intent of this thread was destroyed by so many...I consider it dead and I'm no longer bound by my initial, non-confrontational stance.

Let me tell you what I did learn here. There are extremists in the LGBT group. And apparently not only the "curse you out" and deny logic types...but those who can't even take a moment to explain their position to someone willing to hear their side. I will have to make some assumptions, and here they are. You don't wish to discuss nor inform nor educate. You only wish to demand your agenda. You take a position of "I am right" without even being smart enough to understand that we all think that. And instead of discussing your position, you insult, attack and throw away any chance of speaking your beliefs.

Any professional or intelligent person wishing to make a change will tell you how stupid that choice is. When a crowd...or a crowd of one is willing to listen, the person with something to say should rejoice and speak. It is only the rioter, the looter, the vengeful and the hateful that will loose that opportunity and attack or ignore. So based upon this small test, it appears that the time of talking is gone and it is only time for action. Thank you for making that so apparent.

You have basically informed those of us who have different morals from yours that we should fight for what we want and fight fire with fire...and not consider your wishes whatsoever. Just as you have done with us. You have essentially told anyone who shares a different opinion...that we are right. That there is no discussing with you and that we should march forward and demand as the majority that our wishes are paramount...and those of the minority are to be ignored. Maybe entirely.

So to anyone who shares a different view than having to allow males in the girls room and visa versa...let your voices be heard and vote hard. If they won't accept compromise...you can't either. If they don't care about your opinion enough to even hear it...don't concern yourself with theirs. And if they are willing to risk those you love...have no love for them. If you were considering NOT voting for Trump...maybe you should reconsider. I mean...look what you are up against? Individuals that won't even discuss or share their opinion because we are...apparently...not worth their time nor effort. Consider Obama and Clinton and the willingness to allow some number of terrorists into our country disguised as refugees. It is very much the same. They don't care about your life...don't care about theirs.

It is WAY overtime for some changes.

Here is my opinion:

To avoid all this unpleasantness over who may or may not use a public bathroom I think persons of all persuasions should be required to carry a small bottle for the purpose of peeing into.

Discreetly placed under a person's clothing and strapped to the leg these handy little devices will do away with all the arguments.

Anyone wanting more relief than a pee should have thought about it before they came out.

I think there are better choices, but the point is that no compromise will make some of these people happy. For example...if everyone else agreed to having individual bathrooms for any sex...single person restrooms instead of group rooms...this group wouldn't agree to the compromise. They don't want the problem resolved. They want to force people to accept them by forcing them to do what they want done.

You can't reason with that mentality.

Done with this thread. It was derailed and therefore there is no point in continuing down a path I expressly didn't want to take. Enjoy!

If that is what you learned by this thread then you already had thar idea coming and nothing was going to change it because I'm not sure what you think actually happened in this thread but that wasn't it...

Let´s make this very simple.

The reason why bathrooms are seperated by genders is because one has a penis and the other one a vagina.
Those with vaginas go into the womens room, those with a penis to the mens room. Then we have bathrooms for people with disabilities, who both can be male or female of course. The difference is, those are seperate, single-bathrooms.

They can # or piss in their pant´s if their head hinders them from going to the right bathroom.
Either you need to go to the toilett or not. If one has none of both genders, it´s considered a disability and everyone who feels ashamed going to a disability bathroom, should reconsider how they look on people with disabilities. Their place is the disability bathroom if they like it or not. Arguing it´s disciminating is a slap into the face of all people who are disabled. All the others who have either a vagina or a penis and are physically able to use a normal bathroom, it´s clear.

If allowed...I'll again take that position of waiting to read what everyone has to say.

So you dont have an agenda and yet you have an agenda as per your other thread - but you get to claim you are sitting back having a beer whilst collecting "data" hahahaha

we may as well leave you to your own devices...I'm outta here.....hahahhahahahahah

Liberty relies on equal treatment under the law, not equal outcome, and the idea that we can just use any bathroom we feel like using is an equal outcome idea where we are not held to the expectation of physical gender but are treated as if no one had one at all.

The minute you "legislate for Liberty" is when you start losing liberties as more and more laws are required for everyone who challenges or considers themselves special.

Anarchy is the only true form of Liberty.

Wow thats some speech from someone who only wanted to sit back and view opinions - sound well rehearsed.

You sound very "Ayn Randish." and yet you kept claiming you had no agenda

You are wrong, plain and simple. The "resolution" is to just leave it the hell alone. Instead of following conservative blogs, try following actual evidence and you will realize that there is no reason to suddenly legislate against safety for the benefit of a fearful demographic (scurred conservatives).

Transwomen have been peeing in the women's room and transmen have been peeing in urinals (yes, they can do that) next to other men for decades. This was NEVER an issue to the extent it has become lately. Do you think it a coincidence that conservatives never (rarely, if at all) touched this "issue" before the marriage equality act passed? To me, it seems as if their favorite chew toy (gay marriage) is no longer available to them so they just aim for the next-lowest fruit to harass: transfolk.

Again, look at the evidence. This is fear's worse enemy and it is why marriage equality finally passed. People started looking at the objective evidence and could no longer deny that it was simply unethical to deny an entire segment of American citizens of a very basic slice of the human experience. The same has already happened with transfolk peeing where they are safest to pee but the collective memory of the religious right is a fickle thing, prone to senility. I think it's all the lead in the paint when they were children, personally.

Right. They can even choose the toilet, it´s not like a public bathroom is a great place to meet new people. Everyone does his thing and it´s okay. If they want an extra room, the disability bathroom can be used. Simply as that. It´s not like those are crowded. If those complaining take it as an offence... It really shows their way of thinking.

Playing the fear card is also very telling...
Mind you, I´m not generalizing all transgenders. Only those making a fuss about nothing!

Then there is the financial thing. Pipes, tiles, room, the installation. Bathrooms are not cheap either. Why should someone building up his business be forced to make a "transgender" bathroom. I totally agree with disability toilets.
They can use them if they are free and fear their lives so much.

Why are you guys in the states so bothered about toilets? We have stalls I assume you do also.
For the biggest producers of porn you sure are hung up on people's sexual identities.
Live and let live laws are already there to protect people.

I bet you can imagine the correlation between outspoken transphobic rhetoric and a penchant for "tranny porn".

It might sound weird but I know from experience that a whole lot of conservatives really like to bang what they hate. Pornhub's data mining revealed the red states as being more into "ebony" and "shemale" porn than the more "liberal" states. It's really weird... maybe it's why we see all these anti-gay preachers getting caught with male escorts. On one hand, it's flattering to get hit on by these guys (you know the type, with pictures of themselves holding up dead animals) with a 20% match on OKCupid but, on the other hand... ew. They wouldn't be caught dead talking to me in public but they sure as hell want me in a "discrete" fashion (to either strangle me or whatevs). It's really gross.

Maybe... just maybe that's why the loudest proponents for making hot transgirls use the men's room are conservative men. Punch in public, fondle in private. I'm really not kidding.
