What I think is ironic is how Liberals will use the very few Republican racists they can dig up to try and paint every Republican as being racist.

I have seen people point out that racists groups (KKK, White Supremacist, etc), support and endorse Republican policies. I have also seen people point out people saying racist things at Republican rallies or holding signs with racist messages on them. I have seen people point out that a lot of Trump's statements are racist and his past behavior (which concluded in lawsuits) were racists.

I'm sorry if you feel attacked by that, it's not our fault that the party you have chosen to endorse caters to racists people and groups. That's not our fault, that is just a fact that you have to deal with.

So basically, because there is a minority group, you are the one here calling it tokenism. Do you also sit around watching the NBA and refer to the white guy on the team as the "token?"

You're the one who calls it the racist thing. It can only be racist if we only allow those blacks into the group because we understand the decide we need to have some of the other race for "PR" purposes ... like when Hillary had the dad of the Pulse nightclub shooter sitting right behind her in the crowd at her rally (good PR to show that Muslim there). Or do we simply see that they're black shrug and make room for them because we are welcoming of any and all comers who want to support Trump and his ideals?

Be careful, at the rate the political left is scapegoating people like you and me, when nothing gets better and only gets worse, things will likely escalate as they continue to blame all of that on us.

They aren't tokens, they're voters just like you. Voters, who, by the lefts logic, should be shunning Trump if he was a racist. But, lo and behold, for some reason or another, they don't see this racism that the left tries to fabricate.

The article brings up some interesting angles that might have, or might not have, been weighed by those on either side of the debate.

It is of course beyond question that a big part — probably the large majority — of Trump's success is built on racism, anti-immigrant paranoia, and xenophobia. But in their haste to rule out economic factors, liberals are whistling past some important data, and failing to explain other aspects of Trump — namely, his violence and authoritarianism.

Trump is winning people without a college degree (disproportionately low-class) by 10 percentage points, according to a recent Bloomberg poll — whereas in 2012, President Obama won that same group by 4 points.

It rather stretches credulity to assert that Clinton is getting slaughtered among whites without a college degree entirely because of racism when only four years ago the actual black candidate did 10 points better among the same group. (Incidentally, in 2012 non-college educated whites made up over one-third of Obama's votes.)

Or perhaps Trump's only purpose or role in this whole election is to destroy the GOP and escort Hillary into the WH? One thing I do know is: no matter who wins the election; America and the rest of the world is screwed.
