www.anglia-models.co.uk...

glennfordnews.com...

You really are hard pressed to push the ME aren't you...so much that you ignore the reality that your gullible and your making a fool of yourself.

But please keep up the good work I always need a good laugh.

If ME-ers were mistaken about the Ford logo not having the curl one has to wonder what versions of the Ford logo could have contributed to their error? Because looking historically the logo changes very early in Ford history to a curly F design, before most ME people would have even been born. If you look at prior Ford logos (to the most modern version) they all feature this cursive curl perhaps even more prominently, so it is strange people wouldn't have taken notice of it or blocked it out of their mind for some reason. I mean this is a heavily marketed car company, the logo is iconic, people could feasibly and without much of a stretch see this thing daily. It could easily be etched into our minds - so why only now do people start to notice the curl on the F? I imagine even diehard Ford fans are perplexed here.

Im not even sure about the so-called 'residual', that might be unofficial recreations of the logo. But it does show you how some people saw the logo. In fact if you were doing an unofficial recreation of a logo you'd probably have an image of the official logo on hand as a reference (and yet still no curl?)

A larger picture does emerge for me, but it's my own speculation. In my opinion it has to do with the beginning of end of the world.

..wanted to note that's just one direction I've thought it could go. It could lead anywhere (even good places), it just has a feeling of being big.

Wanted to get that out there.. started thinking the post sounded all doom-porny when I was winding down last night.

Why would I be Raymundo? Is he not extremely anti ME?

You know who I was referring to and yet you joined today, fascinating. So anyway should I address you as Ray or Max?

You are still confused?

Again, why would you even think I am Ray?

Getting your threads mixed up again I see. I know it's hard work being the defender of sanity. A free pass shall be given.

It was intentional. In my timeline Ford Motor Company also makes James Bond films.

Is Nicholas Cage a bad actor in yours?

I'm starting to think I'm in the Dark Tower.

Nicholas Cage is a bad actor in every timeline. There are some things even Nelson Mandela cannot effect.

Agreed, cursive no longer being taught is a tragedy. We're going to teach our children the skill at home - despite them.

With recent changes public standards, I wouldn't be surprised if home based early education becomes a lot more popular.

I was quite surprised to find out my kid is being taught cursive this year for third grade. It is a damn shame though that so many schools are abandoning ship with penmanship. Mine was getting bad myself, so I bought a couple fountain pens to bring myself back up to par.

Calligraphy, typography, the art of form and expression with type and logos.
Of course, some things change with time and modernity...like, errrm...logos for example.

Being a graphic designer, I have updated lots of logos to reflect the current modes. It's not uncommon and there has been enough evidence presented to veify that the Ford logo had evolved throughout the years to the form it currently possesses.

I'm not subscribing to this Mandela Effect.
Not in this timeline, at least.

It seems the rules for this forum no longer apply. That makes any thread with Skunkworks purpose impossible.
At least you all had a good time.

I wouldn't notice a change in any logo unless it happened in front of me

It's only because you come from a different timeline -

Or

or billions spent in the Marketing industry were to no avail - you are immune to branding

Hmm, seems the forum rules also state:

We certainly do not want to discourage the involvement of helpful critical analysis and skeptical thought, this will always be a very important part of collaboration on ATS. However, we will be strict in managing the tone and style of such exchanges. Please keep your critical involvement to helpful focus on issues, facts, and analysis of possibilities, and do not engage in disruptive character attacks, snipes, and insults in any way. Any such activity will result in a warning and removal of your post.

This forum is not just for preaching to the choir with no dissenting opinions. As long as those opinions are constructive and based upon critical analysis. I have seen that presented here often, yet completely ignored and even derided by many of the believers. If you wish to follow the forum guidelines, then you must follow all of them, not just cherry pick those you agree with and that advance your own narrative. That is known as discussion....true discussion.

I agree...to all of it. I can, however, only control my own postings as I am not responsible for others. I have tried to keep to the facts...and i anyone find a post of mine here that does not (with the exception of the clarification post above regarding forum guidelines, which was in response to your off-topic posting), please feel free to notify the moderators for review.
