According to Brookings Institute - - - - Obama was ranked 18th out of all 43 presidents in 2015.

That will probably change, but I expect him to go up, not down.

I'm not saying my opinion one way or another on this but um, I always wondered.

Who exactly does these rankings and exactly what criteria are used to determine this success?

Funny how life just goes on and no one even attempts to even acknowledge any of my question's on page 10.

But if I said I was gonna vote Hillary or Trump I'd get tons of feedback. lol priceless

You can go to their site and research it.

Who's site? It's not like you linked it. I have no idea where people pulling these statements come from. If I did I could answer my own question.

We'll still be here. We'll get you through.

You put all that effort into making the case of how clearly you see the degree to which that "Fundamental Transformation" has already progressed and then negate everything you've said by asserting that you Know that tomorrow won't be even worse than today.

I'm not above a protest vote. I've cast a lot since the Carter years. When this country threw caution to the wind and blindly voted for the vacuous promise of "Change" it forgot that melanoma fits the bill just as well as anything else. Would any sane person willingly & knowingly make that choice?

Saying that everything will still be here later on is like the wife that confidently says her husband tells HER everything without realizing that reality doesn't necessarily meet her expectations.

History has seen many countries fall due to the self-satisfied and over-confident attitudes of their populace.

I wish I could have more faith in the voting system because I'm old enough to know that tomorrow holds no guarantees.

I don't trust Mrs. Clinton any farther than I could throw her and, with my back, I'm almost positive I couldn't get her off the ground!

Votes do count, each candidate wins a state not the overall popular vote. Watch a YouTube video about how the electoral college works.

So you're saying the popular vote for each state elects POTUS?

United States Electoral College is the institution that elects the President and Vice President of the United States every four years. Citizens of the United States do not directly elect the president or the vice president; instead they elect representatives called "electors", who usually pledge to vote for particular presidential and vice presidential candidates.

In a presidential election, the popular vote simply means an aggregate of all voters from all states in America. It is quite possible that a candidate wins the popular vote (i.e. gets more votes over all) and yet loses the presidential election. This is because although Americans vote directly for their chosen candidate in the presidential election every 4 years, the president is elected by the institution called the Electoral College.

Lol yeah your vote counts, but not how you think it does and/or not with as near as much magnitude you believe it to hold.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hillary Clinton would just keep the same system going doing the same corrupt bs. Trump at least might shake things up and expose to the public more evidence cronyism.
There is almost no good choice but I think hillary should be in jail and Trump at least has been right about the levels of corruption going on.

Trump won't win he's in it for Hillary.

Americans allegedly choose candidates. Then they elect POTUS from given candidates. So yeah he got the nomination but he won't win the electoral vote.

He will just say it's all rigged once he wins the popular vote and lose in the electoral college, thereby satisfying his ego.

And He'll probably have a new tv show after the election plus all the millions he's pocketed.

Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding.

Where do I pick up my Hillary t-shirt?

You don't have to actively support her or even like her or given her another chance, to support the platform that she would like your support in implementing.

www.hillaryclinton.com...

In other words, dumping Trump for the sake of everything that makes America great, could be the right thing to do, no matter what your personal feeling may be toward Hillary Clinton and perhaps "witch" is a bit of a caricature, maybe?

I've taken another close look at what the Democrats are proposing and it's a good plan.

And then there's Trump, and who the hell knows how that might turn out. Actively voting for him is like throwing dice at a bankrupt casino.

And it's not out of the realm of possible that Clinton could be a very good president. The days of her husband's Presidency weren't so bad and he left what by some accounts (not entirely accurate, I'll give you that) was a budget SURPLUS before the crazies took over, but Donald Trump will make George W. Bush look sane and reasonable by comparison.

I agree with the OP. What are you THINKING?!

The world and your children are watching.
