In callous dread


I think I truly hate the clock
Controlling lives that mindless flock
As frantic toil married woe
Became the furrow that you hoe

Then the end in callous dread
Life the crimson that you bled
Squeezed and spent as useless coin
Death the penny you purloin

All you've built will never last
Whose corner stones repeat the past
Repetitive and then undone
You cannot win the clock has won
