The Plum

My sugary sweet, juicy plum,
Your nectar fresh upon my tongue.
Lips pressed upon your succulent skin,
You quench the thirst I have within.

And I indulge in your succulent flavor,
Each bite I take from your flesh I savor,
Because I know, that soon it will end,
And I'll never know such delight again.

I hungered.. and you satiated me.
I drank from your juices, passionately.
Devoured you, selfishly, and unabashed,
Until my hunger had finally past.
