I wish there was a way to recapture moments
like whistling in the dark as a child, then
smiling

I wish there was a way to recapture love
at its most purist and innocent way
not having to say, I'm sorry, although
when I did, I was embarrisshed when I
did

Not easy to admit when you are wrong
not easy to bite your tongue
but when you were you young
no way because you were strong

To recapture that feeling of love
Love uninvestigated, love that was
full of thrill, happiness and a pounding
heart beat full of, full of, full of
Love

Recapture me now, send me back
send me to a place that life doesn't
want me to look back. Recapture
me

Send me to your heart, your love
your open arms of protection and
forgiving. Recapture me,to the
essence of me.

For without you, there is no me
without you there is no need....to be
Help me

Recapture me, love me, need me
want me.....me is me are you
listening?
