Which one do you think is a good choice for society?
-Democracy
-Fascism
-Communism
-Dictatorship

I'd say democracy, which leads to socialism, which is the goal of communism.

What was Stalin's quote (possibly Lennin's)? The democracies will sell us the rope that we will hang them by. I personally monarchy is the way to go, as long as I am in power and the people are content. Haha. I believe in democracy.

How about anarchy????
How about self-government. How about keeping your religion private and personal?? How about coming up with a system that no one has thought of before?

Think, Think, think!

What about feudalism and monarchy?

Feudalism and Monarchies....is that it's extremely difficult to advance your social position. If you're born a serf, you'll likely die a serf... This leads to despair, despair leads to being fed up, which then leads to rebellion....

I think we've shown that democracy works, but it's very prone to corruption, and the challenge to making a democracy function well, lies in how well it can curb corruption. So far, we're slipping in this area...

a never ending cycle of democracy to monarchy to democracy.

I agree. Though I wouldn't call it democracy. Capitalism seems to be a better choice of word.

There are better things then the options posted. Anarchy is an idea but not a solution. Basically Garzok is right, it is all about curbing corruption. If we can do that then any of the above declarations for government would work. Corruption leads to all the problems that a people and it's nations is woed with.

How about you???

Is corruption the only problem or is there something more to it all???

Opinions............

1st Pres George Washington, "Government is not reason, not persuausion, it is force, like fire it is a trecherous servant and a dangerous master"

2nd Pres J. Adams, "Power wherever invested whether in a single monarchy, oligarchy or the majority of a democratic parliament is always depostic, arbitrary and dangerous"

3rd Pres: Thomas Jefferson, "The best government is the least government".

Jefferson also stated is one of his letters, "If this experiment in democracy fails, I don't think we should move in the direction of European monarchism rather we should see how well we can adapt the ANARCHISM (my emphasis) of our native indian population."

Some food for thought...........

He said this on his death bed too. He said that this country should free itself of international affairs and should stay away from political parties. He begged of this. On his death bed at that. You don't go against the wishes of the dying. Yet this country did. Nothing is more disrespectful and nothing is more degenerate then that when we are speaking of political affairs within our nation. I think what we have done to this country is disgusting. Washington is not only spinning in his grave but he is seething with rage as well.

Agreed. Our international policies have always been to enrich our corporate interests domestically.

How about Corporational Occupationist Government to briefly return to the original post?

Free market system within a Republic would be what I would like to see again, just as the Founding Fathers envisioned it. This democracy we have in the states where the wishes of California and New York float across the entire nation rather than allowing each state to have its say in its own affairs is a crock. You can forget it changing that way, though. Every president whose had the idea of changing it back has died, starting with Abe Lincoln.

Facism also leads to socialism. And yet there's no presence of illuminati? All of our choices lead to the same end result. Forced choice, they are not opposites, but rather oppoSAMES.

David Icke is right about this.

Either way the people get screwed hard and slow up against a brickwall. Don't matter which system you choose but at least in a democracy you have a lil freedom which gives those born in poverty a lil sunlight to grow and become the screwer instead of the screwed. ummm...okay.

Depends on the nature of the people being ruled. De,ocracy usually fails iserably. Some people need dictatorships. Some people need communism and socialism. Depemnnds on who we speak of.

I prefer anarchy. Society simply is overrated.

Self Governance. The true path for the superman/woman. Every great artist knows this instinctively. Democracy is the triumph of the mediocre and we all know they can be mislead with bright shiny objects.
ALL other forms of government attempt to replace our natural growth process towards perfection with never ending parental authority.
Eat and ye shall be as gods????!!! (I hate quoting the bible)

My point (for now) is that all government is aggression on a pychic and physical level. If we hadn't been conditioned to "slave morality" for centuries, we would have long ago thrown off the tyranny of our divine destiny.

In your hearts you all know who the prettiest one is......

Definatly dictatorship

Look at singapore, the streets are clean, the people are fed, there are no beggers.

Or Iran, again no beggers, high literacy rates, good health system, criminals get their arms cut off, etc

Benevolent dictatorships cut through the crap and get things done.

Excecute the politicians and make the decisions.

And I agree that corruption is the undermining force in any system of government. I believe the corruption is a direct result of the fact that we live in a society that is based on the idea of money.

If there was a way to run a democracy without money i think thats something to look into. good luck with that.
