Committee(s) in The U.S. House will be calling people to testify next month on whether Hillary Clinton lied to Congress and/or the FBI during official investigations.

That kind of lying is called perjury and is illegal.

Lying to the public is not perjury and is legal.

She may have in fact lied to Congress and the FBI.

House panel to probe FBI about whether Clinton perjured herself to Congress

A House panel will probe FBI officials next month over whether Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton perjured herself in testimony to Congress last year about her use of private email servers while she was secretary of state.

Republican committee members plan to bring up the perjury issue at a House Judiciary Committee hearing in September that will focus on oversight of the FBI, according to a Republican committee aide who was not authorized to speak on the record. The exact date and witness list for the hearing have not been set, but FBI Director James Comey will likely testify, the aide said.

I can see it now,
"Yes, she lied, technically, but she herself believed the lie, therefore did not intentionally lie, so it wasn't a lie."
Not guilty.

House Committee members have been instructed as to what the determination must be, and will follow suit or else serious consequences will follow

Dragging it out just a little longer, just a little bit further to the election, then they can stop covering for her.

That depends on your definition of lie....
Bent the truth a little bit?
Not totally honest?
Made up the answers completely?

Of course they did.

What's more predictable about this? That the the GOP would launch yet another investigation of Hillary (that won't lead to anything) or that you created a thread about it?

This is the same group of hypocrites who led by a child molester, went after that other Clinton for having consensual sex with an adult in the oval office. I've always wondered why the Democrats don't perpetually investigate the Republicans in the same manner? It's not like Congress does anything of any real use anyway.

That was all considered payback for Watergate.

Not that I condone it or anything.

I couldn't care less who Bill was screwing in his private life when he was POTUS.

That's between he, his mistress(es), and his wife.

A hearing on whether Clinton perjured herself before congress,
in September no less...this could lead to an October surprise.

She is really desperate, trying to slink in on the sly,
no press conferences, no accountability.

This has the potential to totally derail her.
