We had like six explosives. The sixth was optional but they had it active. Nitro, PETN, RDX, Semtex, AmNo3, and I know I'm forgetting one. AmoNitrate was optional because it takes a lot to make a bang.

Remember many, many years ago when T2 was pretty new me and a few friends flew to Greece for a fortnight of libation and fun but one of my friends got stopped and asked to turn out his pockets etc and you'd never seen someone go so red as he had to hand over a box of condoms and even the woman (typical) went a few shades more

Didn't they jail four Irish guys in the seventies on the basis their playing cards tested positive for explosive substances. it turned out later through the advancement of forensics that the cards could not explode even if you really...really...really... REALLY wanted them to.

My mum once opened a suspect device whilst on a jolly to Blackpool for the weekend. Couple of Irish guys ask her to watch a package whilst they went to the bookies for 5 minutes....My Brave old mum ripped open said suspect device only to discover 12 pairs of undercrackers...evil Irish terrorist pants.

A situation I was involved in happened at Victoria Train station in London about 6 months ago, I was working near there and went upstairs to the food hall and was waiting inline at Subway, I noticed a large black holdall up against a wall I got to the counter and asked if they knew who it belonged to and they had no clue it was even there (great observation skills obviously)..

There was a BTP officer near by so I called him over he basically looked like he didn't give a damn and just went straight in and opened it up, "Nah just someones luggage he stated to me in a sarcastic tone".. Then he shouts out across the food hall about the bag and a Italian women with her face full of KFC runs over and claims the bag. Probably the most unprofessional situation I have ever been involved with regarding the Transport Police.

EDIT::
Looks like confirmed that it was not a threat, I bet the person who owns the bag has some explaining to do?...

Suspect Device by
Stiff Little Fingers..aka..SLF..

Inflammable material, planted in my head
It's a suspect device that's left two thousand dead
Their solutions are our problems
They put up the wall
On each side, time and prime us
Make sure we get # all
They play their games of power
They cut and mark the pack
They deal us to the bottom
But what do they put back?

Don't believe them
Don't believe them
Don't be bitten twice
You gotta suss, suss, suss, suss, suss, suss
Suss, suspect device

They take away our freedom
In the name of liberty
Why can't they all just clear off
Why can't they let us be
They make us feel indebted
For saving us from hell
And then they put us through it
It's time the bastards fell

Don't believe them
Don't believe them
Don't be bitten twice
You gotta suss, suss, suss, suss, suss, suss
Suss, suspect device

Don't believe them
Don't believe them
I tell ya, question everything you're told
Just take a look around you
At the bitterness and spite
Why can't we take over and try to put it right?

Please don't believe us
Don't believe us
Don't be bitten twice
You gotta suss, suss, suss, suss, suss, suss
Suss, suspect device

We're a suspect device if we do what we're told
But a suspect device can score an own goal
I'm a suspect device the Army can't defuse
You're a suspect device they know they can't refuse
We're gonna blow up in their face!

Manchester Airport tweeted:

Upon finding an unattended bag, an area outside terminal two was cordoned off as a precautionary measure. Following a thorough investigation, the bag has been cleared as a posing no threat & the process of reopening the terminal is underway. As always, the safety & security of our passengers and staff is paramount, and we appreciate the patience of those affected tonight.

That will be that Then..
