Our journey let us to the hills away from Iran,
We never understood the people who helped us escape,

The guards searched the SUV but we were well hidden.
The trip into the Mountians of freedom took two days.

Our enemies became our best friends,
We could not even understand their words.

They paid off people just so we could be set free,
Selfless can't describe who they were.

The journey ended as we reached the boarder of another country.
As we crossed over into freedom our friends were shot at.

We saw them escape into the wild,
To our helpers of humans we say raise your glass and cheers to freedom...
