Except during an aircraft jacking the fuel pumps wont be operating, and they are kind of cute toy size on a 320 anyway. I would say the FB respondent got themselves confused with the hydraulic pumps which most certainly will be operating during a jacking with a gear swing. I have seen 330's jacked top maximum height and they bounce around in a very gut wrenching fashion. If they ever need to pull the MLG inner cylinder on a 330 for a seal change you need to get maximum jacking height to get them apart. I have a pic somewhere I took years ago of a colleague standing on a plastic step box under the nose gear and he is reaching up arm outstretched and is just touching the bottom of a tyre with his fingers, that's how high you need to go. And when the hyd pumps start it gets scary.

I have been seeing these Orions going in and out of GPI regularly, if not very frequently, for the last couple years. Not sure where they are coming from and going to (maybe Canadians visiting?) but they all seem to have a fresh coat of grey paint and subdued markings.

I enjoy seeing them as kind of a throw back to my Navy days.

I found a b17/24 ball turret ammo hatch cover in desert a couple months ago. Wish I could figure out how to post pictures!

Somewhere we have a family shot of us standing below the Seal of either 26000 or 27000. I think it's at my parents house. I think there's another one of all of us on the stairs they used for it too.
