ALL Cellphone Numbers, Emails Of DEMS In Congress Hacked

The Drudge Report just put up this banner...It suggests that the cellphone numbers & emails of every Democrat in Congress has just been hacked and posted.
I assume the hackers would also have their personal emails, texts and photos...but I don't know if that's possible.

If this is true...it is not only an outrageous cyber attack...but it could be absolutely devastating on a political level.
I'll post as soon as more information becomes available.

Hacker Publishes List Of Cell Phone Numbers, Private E-Mails For Most House Democrats

After disappearing for a couple of weeks, the hacker “Guccifer 2.0” returned late this afternoon to provide a new headache for Democrats. In a post to his WordPress blog, the vandal--who previously provided nearly 20,000 Democratic National Committee e-mails to Wikileaks--uploaded an Excel file that includes the cell phone numbers and private e-mail addresses of every Democratic member of the House of Representatives.

The Excel file also includes similar contact information for hundreds of staff members and campaign personnel. In announcing the leak of the document, “Guccifer 2.0” reported that the spreadsheet was stolen during an hack of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “As you see I wasn’t wasting my time! It was even easier than in the case of the DNC breach,” the hacker wrote.

Along with the Excel file, “Guccifer 2.0” also uploaded files that included the account names and passwords for an assortment of subscription services used by the DCCC, from Lexis-Nexis to Glenn Beck’s web site (password:******).

In a message today, the hacker branded the U.S. presidential elections a “farce” that is “being settled behind the scenes as it was with Bernie Sanders.” He added, “I wonder what happened to the true democracy, to the equal opportunities, the things we love the United States for. The big money bags are fighting for power today. They are lying constantly and don’t keep their word.

but this cyber vigilantism isnt helping. it doesnt take long until all cyber vigilantes think they actually are morally superior, i.e. anonymous, and start spreading their own agenda.

On guccifer 2.0's website there's a message saying he has "exclusive materials" available on request to journalists.

It's clearly ok that they do it to us.

I swear, it's like they want to be exposed. You'd think that, after Hillary and the DNC, they'd step up their cyber security. Maybe bring in some professionals to look for weak points.
Somebody does not want another Clinton is the White House.

I'm of two minds about this. It's wrong that they have been hacked...but, maybe...just maybe...they'll begin to be a bit more transparent in their actions...and realize that it's safer to be open and honest, than corrupt and secretive...because their secrets are always vulnerable to us.

I'd feel bad for them if they treated the rest of us as equals.

But these are politicians. Where rules don't apply to them. We've had the NSA up our butts since before Bush, turnabouts fair play.

Took a quick glance at the leaked information. I'm not even surprised of how so many got basic ID's/passwords in use, stuff like admin/admin and democrat/democrat that I saw. Not really tech savvy folk.

A lot people are going to get prank calls and text messages tonight.

Oh boy sounds like Hillary is gonna have to up the body count.

Anyone who's ever read one of my posts knows I am a dyed-in-the-wool conservative…

But I don't like hacks and I don't feel like we should be spiking the football because the Democrats are the ones getting embarrassed…

Hacking somebody's private information is despicable...and I assure you while it may seem funny when it happens Democrats, it will not be funny when it happens to someone you support, or to a friend, or to a loved one..

I chose not to read the article even though I saw it on Drudge and I hope that my fellow conservatives will do the same despite the temptation to revel in another undoubted embarrassment for Democrats....
