President Regan was an actor, why can't Trump be a comedian. While agree that is has said some pretty stupid stuff, but what's to say one of the other 43 presidents we had didn't say some pretty outlandish stuff at some point. At the end of the day, each party has good things and bad things, people will always be people and S&^* will always still stinks.

He had a respect for the institution of government

Well there you go. You hit it right on the head. Many Americans today simply have zero respect for the institution of government as it stands, and rightfully so.

Just remember before Trump interrupted the GOP we were set to face a Bush vs Clinton election. THAT itself is the true joke.

Word on the street, he's coming back... but on HBO! Let that sadness go!

You know, I thought so too! Definetly gonna be Bush v Clinton but thinking back now, after watching his blunders, such as...

and

...I've come to conclusion, Trump or no Trump, this man never had a chance. Without Trump, this race would have been Cruz v Clinton.

Wow, people still watch that show to get talking points?

I thought that show died. Mandela effect, I guess.

At least Jon Stewart was funny.

Funny none of you took issue with this:

Your outrage is completely dependent on media spin.

Watching this reminds me that I miss Jon Stewart.

Jon was the man. Trevor Noah is good, but nothing like Jon.

Noah's a joke, not a funny one.

That's because it's not a joke, it's an observation. It's funny because it's so true!

At least Trump can stand up by himself.

Wouldn't it be reasonable to say that Trump creates that "tabloid"-like attention himself and has yet to make any real sense on the issues we face in this country?

No, but it would be reasonable to say the media currently scrutinizes anything the Trump or his campaign due in an obsessive ridiculous manner.

Considering the things Trump has said and done, is he not deserving of that scrutiny?

(Don't ask me to list them, there isn't enough room)

Yes, she is and she has received it. Clinton has been all over the news for years and has had a huge spotlight on her since she was First Lady.

There are no more Presidents since TPTB took over,
POTUS are selected not elected, and yes the election process is a comedy!

I disagree. I don't fall for the line that presidents are selected. We still have a say in the process.

With Debbie Wasserman Schultz at the helm of the DNC, I don't think any voter had any say in the selection process.

Ok. The two major parties are private organizations. They can do whatever they like. If you don't like how they do things, vote for other candidates in others parties.

That was so true I found it hard to laugh.

What an embarrassment to this country. And as for those supporters in the video, gross.
I'd rather hang out in the bottom of a pond with the scum feeders than them.

The problem is, unlike Democrats, I am only allowed to vote once.
