The truth is your lying to yourself. He did say it. He had to answer for it. So he makes this ISIS statement to redirect the focus away from it.

Without the combination of Obama self-serving actions and in-actions, ISIS would never have existed. It kind of goes like this. If you create a dark place that is moist and warm where germs exist, the begin to multiply. As they continue to reproduce, if you ignore them or don't effectively exterminate them (again for self-serving reasons), they will flourish. Eventually, that little "problem" will become so large that you need to call in the "big guns" to eliminate the problem. But if you are too worried to acknowledge it exists...because you allowed it to exist...and are more interested in dodging blame and you continue to let it grow, it begins to spread and kill more and more people.

There are only two reasons for such actions. Either you are far to concerned with your self-serving interests and are so narcissistic that even human life means nothing to you so long as you don't end up looking like you make a mistake. Or...you love germs, wish to see them grow and prosper and celebrate the death they cause and the disease they spread.

Take your pick.

It's very hypocritical to focus so much attention on one candidates lies and ignore/defend another candidates lies.

Really? OK...I'll bite. Tell me a lie that Donald Trump has said in the last month. Yup...one month so we keep it relevant. Now this is going to be the tough part. The definition of a lie requires the person stating an untruth to know that it is not the truth. You know...like Hillary Clinton has done thousands of times about her emails, what the FBI said (which by the way...is on record), etc.

So please...tell me one untruth stated by Donald Trump that you know and have proof of, that he knew it was not the truth at the time he said it. I can do that for Clinton, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc. Your turn.
