My goodness.

Everyone participating in this thread needs to read this.
The Quadrennial Exploitation Of The Moronic Masses
It scrolled by yesterday, and I found it to be inspirational.

Now, I am moving back to the threads regarding the real issues, like the overwhelming Clinton corruption.

so, I guess we can through till november now just accusing each other of being paid plants?? okay.....

you all do that if you like.
I mean, I have to admit that it's much easier than to actually do a little research into things and find the truth for yourselves instead of just passing the lies along to others.... and both sides have many, many lies...

but well, keep one keeping on I guess...

oh, and by the way, I get a monthly check, and neither party will be getting my vote! my guess is I will be voting libertarian, hoping it will be added to many more votes, at least enough to give them the credibility to be involved in future debates..

Mods, is this a rant?

A million dollars has been spent for online trolling in defense of HRC. Majority of ats members know this. I do believe we should raise a eye brow on pro hrc threads. That being said I'm positive that these paid trolls will certainly be on ats.

Of all places, this is a hotspot for ats members idealogy, conspiracies and worldwide interactions that this message board has create it.

Yeah, keep a eye raised for both pro candidates if you want. I'm just addressing the insanity that this political turmoil has create on both parties..

6 million from one PAC alone. But.....

Anyways, I don't think there will be much to worry about in the future.

More like idiocy. You think people care about this little outlier, a blip, on the internet? Have you seen how pro Trump this place has become? It's amazing what this place has turned into in the past 7 years.

Looked at with a closer eye lol. This website has gone off the reservation.

I'm sure the two most divisive characters in memory wouldn't stoke flames on both sides. Instead of having any common sense, yeah lett's say those on the other side of the flames are paid shills. Maybe on Huffington Post, or somewhere that draws a lot more hits than this place, but even if there are a few on here what you're saying is pure and utter stupidity @ OP.

One of the subtler ways I have seen them work, more elsewhere than here, is to pretend to be Trump supporters, and then say stupid things in an attempt to make all Trump supporters look bad. I have actually seen a couple of obvious attempts like that on these forums.

I have sad news for you: those really are Trump supporters. The Trump campaign deliberately targets "low information voters," the sort who believe that a solar flare is really a giant spaceship, or that Chupacabra has been raiding their trashcan at night.

I've seen some of these in Facebook. Yesterday I stumbled on a page called 1 million strong for Hillary. Most of the commenters posting are recently created accounts with no real images, friends or post and they sound robotic. By robotic I mean simple responses to anything anti Hillary: We must destroy Trump for the sake of the world etc later on seeing the same post on another post from the same person. An Indian man went on a rant about wanting Hillary as president because she promised to make jobs in India and stated he can't vote in the US elections because he is not in American or living in US. A Trump supporter pointing out that it doesn't benefit the US creating outside jobs and he has no plans on moving to India.

Pro Hillary supporters attacked him say that: "Trump and his kids have NEVER talked about bringing jobs to the US". When that basically has been part of campanin since forever. Some even saying that Hillary stands for: HONESTY, HUMANITARIAN and HUMILITY. These were from active accounts with friends, posting and multiple images. It really is mind boggling how they ignore her negative past and current scandals.

We should be on the look out for paid shills,

I disagree because it's a distraction. You'll never prove it anyway, and the accusation is enough to take any conversation off track. Plus, calling someone a shill is against the rules.

Just sayin'.

A couple of things..

The OP is conflating Digital Marketing with paid forum posters.

The biggest reason that paid forum posters in politics do not originate from the US? Because in a democracy it is too hard to keep a lid on it and the blow-back is too high a risk.

You can not employ enough paid shills to influence a political campaign without a substantive leak and fierce blowback..in the USA. All ethics aside the risk return ratio is off the charts for US politicians. It makes no sense what-so-ever.

In contrast foreign countries like China and Russia are well known employing hundreds and thousands of paid posters to influence public perception. Their tight control on the media and less than democratic structures insulating them from consequences if exposed means their is a high return-low risk scenario.

Paid shills exist in politics, but they originate primarily from China, Russia and Iran from what I have researched.

As a sidenote...the Kremlin has an IP address...And I have seen paid shills from the Kremlin on these boards...and have seen them banned after I have requested the IP addresses be examined...but can't say for certain that was impetus for banning. Pretty easy to spot. The Iranians would be 2nd in paid shills on ATS IMO...The Chinese would place 3rd...mostly on Tibet issues.

Just my 2 cents and some evidence.

I did read your last paragraph. However your subject clearly singles out HRC. So you're concerned over HRC trolls without any bit of evidence other than your intuition. Yet here you read actual news articles on Russia helping Trump with pro trump trolls and you call it far reaching. Laughable.

Gee, G-d forbid anyone call out Hillary Clinton for her crimes. I mean, we all need to man up and match all of Hillary's crimes with a Trump crime, or we're not being fair to this guy!

Give me a break. I'm no trump fan, but anyone who manages to ignore all the evidence of the clinton crimes, including mena airport, haiti no bid contracts to clinton foundation donors, along with all the rape victims of Bill Clinton describing the harassment and threats they've rec'd from people who were HIRED by Hillary, as her own ex-aides have publicly said.

And before some numbnut starts to denigrate youtube and all, I actually read books, ya know? And there are over a dozen books outlining the crimes of BIll and Hillary Clinton. And the thing about books is that if you lie in a book, you WILL get sued. But while all of the authors tell about being threatened and anonymous phone calls threatening them and their families, and heck, some of them have even been murdered. But ya know, not ONE OF THEM has ever been sued.

Anyone who can ignore the crimes of the Clintons and Bushes, because they are one and the same, and calls themselves a 'Democrat' is a blind fool.

Every Network on MSN is pro Hillary, i fail to see how Trump is a concern as he's not getting half the coverage that she is. I'm sure the Networks are terrified of making one false move in the off chance she has them exterminated.

The press remind me of dogs behind the window when the mail man shows up. Oh those absolute incensed dogs, curtains moving, muffled barks and looks of desperation.

As a college graduate and professional, who is very much informed, I find your response offensive.
I know many, many Trump supporters, and they are hardly low information.
If anything Trump supporters have to be more informed to know the truth.

It is those who just watch the MSM occasionally and blindly accept their bs who are low information.
And Trump supporters would not be the ones doing that.

As a college graduate and a professional, you should be smart enough to know that you just used a logical fallacy, a sweeping generalization and injected your personal feelings in to, what should be, a factual debate.

There certainly are paid Hillary trolls on social media. This is not a conspiracy or theory. It is a fact.

First of all, if you google Correct the Record (I'm not going to link to it here), you will see they have website devoted to the project. It provides talking points, etc. for those on-line.

And, if you claim that this is just a super PAC and not the campaign, there have been repeated complaints, including to the FEC, that Correct the Record violates the law in various ways, including close coordination with the campaign:

I thought the fact was obvious, but perhaps you do not understand?

Evidence shows that the MSM is on a mission to smear Trump and build up Hillary, and the tactics that they are using do not represent reality or the truth. Thus, if someone was not truly informed about the truth, they would not know the truth about Trump, and the facts showing that he is the best hope for the future of this country.

Thus, people who get all of their information from only MSM are low information. They turn on the news occasionally, or scan the headlines, and accept as fact without realizing that what they are seeing is pure propaganda.

So those who support Trump are NOT the ones who are blindly eating up the propaganda, or they would not be supporting Trump. They are the ones seeking out the truth through other means and using common sense to see through the MSM bs.

That's some serious mental gymnastics. In fact, that's got to be the weirdest logic I've seen in some time.

I know you like Trump, but to say that is just embarrassing.

No one has to "smear" Trump ... he proves his utter unworthiness to be a town dog-catcher in Podunk, much less the POTUS, every time he opens his mouth. At least, for any sane individual.

I have posted plenty of facts on other threads regarding this subject, and this thread is about Hillary shills, not about Trump, so I'm not going to derail the thread any further.

ETA: That is a typical tactic directly related to the OP - distract from Hillary corruption by trying to bash Trump.
