Does anyone have any information concerning the device he made?

For those who don't know, Moray's device was able to make energy out of nowhere, without the need of solar energy or electric energy. It was wireless.

In the early 1900's, Dr. T. Henry Moray of Salt Lake City produced his first device to tap energy from the metafrequency oscillations of empty space itself. Eventually Moray was able to produce a free energy device weighing sixty pounds and producing 50,000 watts of electricity for several hours. Ironically, although he demonstrated his device repeatedly to scientists and engineers, Moray was unable to obtain funding to develop the device further into a useable power station that would furnish electrical power on a mass scale.

Are we advanced concerning the research for free energy? Has any other people other than moray made a device like that?

Do you think the government know about that and hide it just to make more money?

As far as I'm aware, he never disclosed how his invention worked to anyone. Tom Bearden claims the Soviets got their hands on Moray's blueprints and used it in conjunction with their scalar weapons. There's not much evidence to support this though.

Moray's first model used a large outdoor antenna, but later models contained small bars of dissimilar metals inside a box.

He was a fan of Tesla's work with cosmic ray reception, so there's probably some clues to the workings of Moray's device in Tesla's radiant energy patents. It seems Moray had advanced the field further than Tesla.

Probably the most revealing statement by Moray was when he said "It's not the electrons, it's the ions."

We're talking about a different form of electricity. You can receive cosmic rays and charged particles using a well-grounded antenna, but making use of the small energy available is difficult. Tesla stated that an ordinary induction motor could not operate from cosmic rays, so he had to build a special motive device for the purpose.

There is apparently an electrostatic motor that will power itself from electricity in the air, and the plans are meant to be out there somewhere on the internet. I haven't been able to find them though.

Is this what you are talking about? I love hearing about this kind of thing but haven't the knowledge of physics to figure it out, but find it very interesting nontheless.

Today's physics might allow the possibility of tapping virtually limitless quantities of energy directly from the fabric of space.

Such a surprising conjecture arises by merging two separate theoretical areas of modern physics:

1) The theories of the zero-point energy (1-5) (ZPE) that model the vacuum as containing real, energetic fluctuations of electric field energy, and 2) the theories of system self-organization (6-13) which not only open the possibility of inducing coherence in this energy, but also provide the underlying principles on how this could be achieved (10).

I don't believe Moray's device, or Telsa's cosmic ray receiver, is harnessing zero point energy. It can simply be described as advanced use of static electricity.

There are two good pages here regarding the electrostatic motor (simple motor powered by static electricity, or high voltage DC).

The work of Dr. Oleg Jefimenko in the early 70's seems to suggest high voltage DC can be obtained using a wire held aloft by a balloon (the higher the better). With one balloon at about 1200ft he generated 70 watts of power using an electrostatic motor.

Now, 70 watts isn't much, it certainly does not compete with a solar cell, but little investigation has been done on harnessing high voltage from the potential difference in the air. Apparently Dr. Oleg Jefimenko had improved some of his methods using electrets.

Because the source of this energy is charged particles which rain down 24hours a day, it obviously has some advantages over the solar cell.

It seems Tesla may have had similar ideas for harnessing this energy. Here is a drawing from Pearson's Magazine, May 1899 regarding Tesla's new inventions.
