Read from Facebook

At 2:39 am coming home from a nice friendly gathering, I see this statement on my wife's facebook page:

" Doesn't make much sense, does it??:
Homeless go without eating.
Elderly go without needed medicine.
Mentally ill go without treatment.
Troops go without proper equipment.
Vets go without benefits that were promised.
Yet, we donate billions to other countries and excessive immigration before helping our own first.
1% will re-post and 99% won't.
Have the guts to re-post this.

Well I guess I'm in the 1% now but not on Facebook as I don't use it.
Money is not an issue here according to some...

The tricky wording slips in the biggest culprit, paints it as a victim, and then blames the victim of that culprit.

Over half of our income tax goes towards military spending. Our actions with our military create scenarios that require us to give nations tons of cash and address more refugees.

Troops go without proper equipment, sure. But they should be at home, mowing lawns or watching Netflix with their families, not being sent to create the next brush fire conflict. So... maybe we're blaming the wrong folks here.

Surely US citizens should be embarrassed by their choices

The pennies they spend on foreign aid and immigration pales in comparison to the tax breaks many get.
Or what about the privatisation of benefit systems for profit that ensures our old or mentally ill do not have access to the help they need. And for that matter what about the inequality in pay, just look at any politicians wage compared to an average citizen and now compare that to a foriegn worker...
The corruption goes so much deeper than the few pennies they send abroad. There is no accountability, we just keep slinging poop and nothing gets done.
Please don't perpetuate race disputes over inconsequential amounts of money that we actually have a duty to pay.

It doesn't matter who you/we vote in as a president or leader, looking back in history.
You point toward the US but it's all over the world, in most countries anyway.
I remember seeing on the news a few years ago, a 15 year old had saved over $2000 to get a well drilled in Africa somewhere so the locals would get fresh water and he was some kind of a hero for doing so. Sure it was nice on his part but what people don't care about is all the millions that the canadian government had been giving to that particular country in aid and yet they couldn't drill a well? I think most if not all of that money was going toward the war that was going on at the time. Go figure...

Control or not caring?
The agenda seems to be about a certain objective that no one knows about and it is being done on a yearly basis, year after year.
Control, it might be... One World Government?
