Possible Carjacking in Missing Man Case

New Mexico newspaper man missing

This is happening in eastern NM. The man who delivers the Clovis News Journal to Clovis from where it is printed, in Santa Fe, is missing. Santa Fe is about 200 miles northwest of Clovis.
The man always stops at a gas station for a burrito. He didn't appear a few nights ago, but the GPS says the truck stopped for 2 mins.

Maybe it is drug traffickers. The truck is a big box truck.

The GPS shows it's last location at a road in between Ft Sumner and Melrose NM, where it stopped for 2 mins without being put into Park.

still no news on the missing man, Elmer Waite.
His truck has not been found, either.
How could it have been carjacked without it being put in to Park?

Sounds like skull duggery, to me.

The newspaper delivery truck driver missing since Friday was found dead this morning in his truck. Officials said they believe Elmer Waite, 59, suffered some kind of medical episode and died at the scene.

The vehicle was found about 9:30 a.m. between Taiban and Fort Sumner on the south side of the highway.

No foul play is suspected.

Y'all gotta understand there is NOTHING here. Nothing for Hundred's of miles. Google Earth it. Foul play almost never happens unless its the gang bangers (who are violent against each other) or the Shifty 50 (who are just content to screw over military families). The Clovis News Journal is also a JOKE. Our top headline a few weeks ago? "Woman washes car INSIDE garage to beat the heat"....

P.S. The reason it took so long to find him even though there is GPS AND you can see for #ing MILES???? Cops here suck as well. They hate it here and are treated like # so everyone official is corrupted.

This isn't a thread for people who hate where they live, but some posters spread negativity wherever they post.

I'm glad this missing person case was resolved, but it's too bad it was a health episode which resulted in death.
