Message notification will not go away.

I have done this before and accidently answered my own message from my sent folder and it will not go away.

I did alert the mods but nothing back, last time Springer sorted it out for me and know it's my own fault but if someone could deal with it it would be appricriated.

Will try not to do it agian...

My advice...don't the use the fecking thing at all, at all, unless it's your grocery list, or happy birthday greetings, or if you just had a baby.
In any case this place is wacky...consider yourself lucky that you get any notification at all...at all.

I risked the universe and send me a u2u, replied to that u2u and after deleting both u2us the world still exist and no more envelop note for me

I somehow do that all the time and like you the white envelope won't go away.
reading the personal message from yourself to you 10 times while having yet another beer and refreshing the page willl get you no where.

I think deleting it does the trick, I forget but it may be you have to delete both outbox and the inbox one?

thats what works for me, maybe reset the browser, ehh can't remember im always drinking when it happens.


there was this one time though me and a member would go back and forth on pms rather quickly and we would make this mistake but then I don't know we broke the universe or something and our imboxes were giving us the wrong peoples messages.. so confusing.

I replied to my own U2U to a differnt person and now I cannot get rid of the envolope that says I have a message?

I did t before and the powers that be fixed it for me.

Go to your outbox and replay to a message you sent and see what happens, no matter how many times you click or respond it stays as if you have a message to read.

yep that did it, cheers.

So used to just clicking it and the notification going and never thought to actually delete them.

Job done if there is a mod about at some point.
