black Fire fighter home burned down after racist threats

if there are still a few clutching to the idea that racism is 'just the race card', well its alive and well. and persecution is still a thing for being black in 2016 i guess.

A North Tonawanda, N.Y., volunteer firefighter who was threatened by a racist letter found in his mailbox Monday lost everything in a fire at his home Wednesday morning, WGRZ reports. Kenneth Walker and his family are safe, however, two cats died in the fire damage, and the family lost all their possessions. According to the report, it is not immediately clear how the fire started. “I’m just shocked,” Kathy Carr, a local business owner, told the station. “The people in North Tonawanda would never do something like this, so I’ll find this interesting to see who the suspect is. I hope they prosecute to the full extent of the law.” Tensions were already high after Walker, a volunteer firefighter in the city, received a hateful and threatening letter in his mailbox Monday, KHOU reports.

-- “[N–gers] are not allowed to be firefighters. No one wants you in this city,” the note read. The letter then went on to threaten Walker, the city’s only black firefighter, to resign from his position or “you will regret it.” The 28-year-old Walker was disturbed by the incident.

maybe clint eastwood can give that guy some advice and tell him to 'f'ng get over it since that thread got nothing but applause...

So no evidence as of yet if the letter had anything to do with the fire?

Shouldn't we at least find the cause of the fire before yelling arson?

Unbelievable you'd try to pass off the racist rhetoric of that letter as if it was the majority of how people think and speak to black people and not just the foolish actions of one racist person. Really unbelieveable

Who denies that racism exists? We have an openly racist group called BLM getting main stream support. So yeah it clearly does exist for all people.

WHAT? What does Clinton Eastwood or Trump have to do with this?

I you found a letter in your mailbox telling you to quit your job and get out of town and then two days later your house burns down, you would not think that the two were connected?

Its funny that on ats us white males are daily victims.

Its so hard being a white man.

Even if the story plays out as suspected, it's just an isolated event. The only widespread movement of racism in America right now is BLM and it's radical supporters.

Oh come on lol, it's like you're blind in one eye or just missing half the story. The vast majority of the time white victim-hood is brought up is when there's threads about black racists who want something from non-racist whites.
