Yes, I know. Engineers (and the types of people who tend to be into it) think they know everything. Which is what worries me.

The thing about it is that when the bad tech finally does come along, it's going to be designed by an engineer and they know how engineers think.

It's like this. You wouldn't hire a criminal to design a critical security system but people think nothing about what kind of mindset the whiz kids have as long as they can have their gadgets.
