Buried Alive and I Don't Know Why

Emotions cascading, covering me all over,
Sadness and pain, greedy and vain,
Deeply, Quivering, Shaking and aching,
Love has conquered me once again;

Why is it so hard to take?
Why is it so hard to make?
Where is the solace?
Where is the comfort?

Contorted, Distorted, Aborted,
Out of orbit and clumsily found,
Wounded by time, Such a hard climb,
Fall from the sky and pierced by an arrow;

So much sorrow, agonizing and quaint,
I did not live my life as a saint,
Making mistakes over and over,
The same results over and over;

Where are the answers?
What are the solutions?
So many questions, none to be found,
Violins playing a lonely sound;

Buried alive by emotions and starving for affection,
The forks in the road lead in every direction,
Up and Down, East and West, North and South, Right and Left,
Is there a right way to go or is it all a crap shoot?

Lessons in life have to be learned, positive or negative,
Each have a value, Good or Bad, Happy or Sad,
The roller coaster ride is crazy and fast,
Hold on tight and let go of the past;

Give me a shovel, I am buried deep,
My emotions run over, They are mine to keep,
No rest for the weary, No need to be teary,
Rest is at hand eventually, it will all be over soon.

Very good. Very painful.

Your rest was found writing this poem.
You are alive now because you never quit.

I am thinking of a man who recently died.
He was buried in his natural state.
He rejected the body of Christ
And they sent him back.
Now his spirit lays back inside him..
And feels it's flesh rotting while in it.
I keep seeing his face.
That of an old man.
Skinny, bones showing.
His mouth gaped open in death.
He's still in there.
They sent him back.
He fell again.
Buried alive.
He knows why.

Rejoice in your body.
Your ability to move.
To breath air.
To walk.
To communicate.
To taste food.
To experience a genuine giggle.
To weep.
To love
To hug.
To reach out.

The body of Christ is real.
They are alive.
Thank you God.
Thank you Jesus Christ.
Do not become like my father.

How many times do they have to tell us?
Know you know why.
