There's only 2 areas in not sure on at the moment. Gas and chimneys lol. Want central heating and the wife wants a wood burning chimney. Looking at some basic courses.

It's kind of a self improvement and just having the want to do it.

Forgive me for saying, it's not silly and mundane if it is what your heart and that of your wife want.

I used to have dreams of a home in the country with a garden and animals and such. I've 'fixed up' many homes that I've lived in remodeling and repurposing rooms and the like.

My dreams changed or were changed rather.

I hope you achieve your goals!

I want to be middle class, over the years the dream seems harder and harder.

Yours is achievable, at least, mine may very well be a pipe dream although I've been making plans for years.
