Tell me why.
Find fault with what I said.
Check all the dictionaries you want about the word "Sacrifice."
Also you might want to do a little research on stolen valor.

Well when you compare money to the life of a child I guess he has. How disgusting can a person get to talk to these parents in that way?
He just can't stand anyone saying anything bad about him. Glory to trump in the highest.and glory to his name.

Completely ridiculous response to my post. Keeping up with the anti-Trump rhetoric is not making you too many friends on this forum.

He's the one who claims to have made all sorts of sacrifices, making it all about him, yet again.

Well no, not really, he answered a direct question, and you just put invented emotional spin to it.
I've no dog in this fight and couldn't give a toss who y'all vote for, but on that specific point he was asked a direct question about himself and responded with an answer.

You've pulled that invented emotional value lame argument with me on the forums, I'll defend Trump against it even if he is a prick.

Meghan McCain: What kind of ‘barbarian’ attacks parents of fallen soldier?

What kind of parent steals the valor of their fallen son?

The proper response to Khan is "I am sorry for your loss.
It should not be "Thank you for your sacrifice" because you gave up nothing willingly.

His son was killed by radical Muslims in a war fought on the basis of false flag operations, lies, and fabricated intelligence, and he blames the man against it who doesn't want another such war, while supporting the woman who backed the Iraq war and wants more just like it.

Anyway, what makes "Muslim" vets special from their regular veterans? Why should they get any special recognition. Are they a United States Soldier first or do they hold their religion in higher regard?

You have to hand it to the DNC, they really know how to control optics and manipulate the media but it won't stump Trump.

My guess is you're young and not a parent.

On both counts?

So, have you had a son or daughter in the military?

In the military at some point.

No longer in the military.

Maybe still in the military.

After the convention at the next Democratic event all American flags were confiscated and unceremoniously dumped on the floor, this family were nothing more than useful idiots in a cheap hit piece on Trump for an outfit that couldn't give a rats arse about their sons sacrifice.

Not a thing. You're not required to sacrifice to be president.

Issue here...
Trump says I think I've made sacrifices too while criticizing the words of parents who have sacrificed the life of their child.

Um, they didn't sacrifice their son. He chose a military career and died in the process. It's unfortunate and he was a good man for doing whatever he could for the country. The sacrifice however, was the son's alone, that should be understood and respected for what it is. In the military, all give some, but some give all. I feel for the parents but this does seem a bit patronizing and underhanded to use the death if a good man to promote the ambitions a vile lying witch, a cancer on American society.

Cheers - Dave

What really gets me is the slimeballs crawling out of the woodwork in support of Trump blowing the parents off, by way of ridiculing the mother for not saying anything. And then shredding her for still mourning 12 years later. That's as classless as Trump's comments.

Not everybody mourns short-term, some people can never get over a loss. Ask my sister-in-law about her late sister. Was trapped in her car & burned to death about 13 years ago in a horrific, fiery head-on crash (thanks, drunk driving asshole, she was so awesome no words exist in English yet to describe her) My SIL? STILL bursts into tears talking about her big sister. She STILL bursts into tears talking about her mother who died 17 years ago. She STILL is inconsolable talking about her dad, who died 11 years ago (she worshiped that man, everyone did. Still miss him myself
)

Mocking parents for still mourning their kid is scraping the bottom on the barrel. Not everyone can move on just like that. Some people never move on.

Edit: Dang it, I haven't thought about her dad in a long time. Now I'm reaching for the Kleenex

So, I started looking around to see how many Muslim US soldiers have died fighting since 2001. I found around 15. Then I added the victims of Major Nidal Hassan and Sgt. Hasan Akbar and also came up with 15. Interesting coincidence, in 13 years of war the same amount of Muslim US soldiers have died fighting for the US, as the number of US soldiers killed by Muslim soldiers with onset of sudden jihad syndrome.
