The FBI warned the Clinton campaign that it was a target of a cyberattack last March, just weeks before the Democratic National Committee discovered it had been penetrated by hackers it now believes were working for Russian intelligence, two sources who have been briefed on the matter told Yahoo News.
In a meeting with senior officials at the campaign’s Brooklyn headquarters, FBI agents laid out concerns that cyberhackers had used so-called spear-phishing emails as part of an attempt to penetrate the campaign’s computers, the sources said. One of the sources said agents conducting a national security investigation asked the Clinton campaign to turn over internal computer logs as well as the personal email addresses of senior campaign officials. But the campaign, through its lawyers, declined to provide the data, deciding that the FBI’s request for sensitive personal and campaign information data was too broad and intrusive, the source said.

This happened over four months ago but they just now "beloeve it was Russians"?
What new evidence did they discover in the past few days that they did not have when the hacking trail was fresh and hot months ago?
Something sounds "phishy" about this story.
All this is coming from the usual sources familiar with the case.
Sounds like another Campaign trick all of a sudden.

If the dems actually had undeniable, irrefutable evidence it was the Russians, why would they refuse to cooperate with and obstruct the investigation by the FBI?

Yesterday, at a subcommittee hearing attended by just half a dozen Senators, the Pentagon’s top weapons buyer made a blunt admission: The military’s most expensive program, the stealthy F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, has been hacked and the stolen data used by America’s adversaries. Under Secretary Frank Kendall didn’t say by whom, but the answer is almost certainly China, a cyber superpower whose People’s Liberation Army Air Force has recently rolled out some suspiciously sophisticated stealth fighter prototypes of its own.
...
The bad news isn’t new news: That someone had hacked F-35 subcontractor BAE Systems was first reported six years ago, and just this February Washington Post reporter Ellen Nakashima obtained leaked information naming the Chinese as having compromised not just the F-35 but two dozen other weapons program.

Chinese hackers stole “many terabytes” of data about the American F-35 stealth fighter jet, new documents provided by NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden contend. The stolen materials, taken from the Pentagon and contractor Lockheed Martin Corp., included radar designs and engine schematics used in the crown jewel of American military aircraft.

She was stupid and guilty as hell... The FBI director probably decided he did not want to die suddenly and mysteriously if he recommended prosecution..
