Last March the FBI warned the Clinton Campaign that their computer systems were targeted by hackers using email phishing methods.

And the irony is the Campaign denied to turn over data and logs saying the whole thing was to intrusive.

What?

The FBI was monitoring the Clinton Campaign computer system while at the same time still investigating Hillary's systems used while she was Secretary of State???

Something sounds "phishy" about this story.

All this is coming from the usual sources familiar with the case.

Sounds like another Campaign trick all of a sudden.

FBI warned Clinton campaign last spring of cyberattack

The FBI warned the Clinton campaign that it was a target of a cyberattack last March, just weeks before the Democratic National Committee discovered it had been penetrated by hackers it now believes were working for Russian intelligence, two sources who have been briefed on the matter told Yahoo News.

In a meeting with senior officials at the campaign’s Brooklyn headquarters, FBI agents laid out concerns that cyberhackers had used so-called spear-phishing emails as part of an attempt to penetrate the campaign’s computers, the sources said. One of the sources said agents conducting a national security investigation asked the Clinton campaign to turn over internal computer logs as well as the personal email addresses of senior campaign officials. But the campaign, through its lawyers, declined to provide the data, deciding that the FBI’s request for sensitive personal and campaign information data was too broad and intrusive, the source said.

This happened over four months ago but they just now "beloeve it was Russians"?

What new evidence did they discover in the past few days that they did not have when the hacking trail was fresh and hot months ago?

They have known about the possible Russian involvement for a while now. It was kept low key till Trump ran is mouth.

Ah right, it doesn't fit into the narrative you were hoping for, for your political choice, so it must be co-opted intel planted by the enemy!

/Sarcasm

Both sides are pumping out fake information. Expecting either one to tell the truth is naive. Thinking that one is telling the truth over the other because what they say suits your political ideologies...(?) That is the literal definition of 'sheep' used by the alternative movement.

Though someone called me 'sheep' the other day because I said the police shouldn't be militarized after the Dallas shooting. Apparently pointing out 3000+ killings by police after one incident where some are killed makes you a 'sheep'.

Since all our terms have been stolen. Can we just agree that playing party to ANY partisan politics whatsoever is the real evil. Leave it as simple as that? Don't vote. That's your answer.

If the dems actually had undeniable, irrefutable evidence it was the Russians, why would they refuse to cooperate with and obstruct the investigation by the FBI?

The whole "Russia did it" propaganda is just revenge for the Snowden defect under the Obama Administration.

FBI warned of a possible attack in March. In April they noticed something wrong with their servers. The DNC hire cyber security experts to check the servers and make it secure again. While doing that they find evidence of Russian involvement and contact the FBI. A cyber attack by it self doesn't always need to involve the FBI but when its possible foreign intelligence agency poking around its time to get the FBI involved.

Two other Cyber security companies (Fidelis Cybersecurity and Mandiant) agree with them.

Sorry but this is a lie

It couldn't have happened last year because Trump just did this hack last week

Yesterday, at a subcommittee hearing attended by just half a dozen Senators, the Pentagon’s top weapons buyer made a blunt admission: The military’s most expensive program, the stealthy F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, has been hacked and the stolen data used by America’s adversaries. Under Secretary Frank Kendall didn’t say by whom, but the answer is almost certainly China, a cyber superpower whose People’s Liberation Army Air Force has recently rolled out some suspiciously sophisticated stealth fighter prototypes of its own.
...

The bad news isn’t new news: That someone had hacked F-35 subcontractor BAE Systems was first reported six years ago, and just this February Washington Post reporter Ellen Nakashima obtained leaked information naming the Chinese as having compromised not just the F-35 but two dozen other weapons program.

Let's see, what is worse, multiple hacks over years of secret plans of new high tech air craft and systems or some stuff from a political party which isn't even government held data.

How much is the US government spending on security with holes for years.

Chinese hackers stole “many terabytes” of data about the American F-35 stealth fighter jet, new documents provided by NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden contend. The stolen materials, taken from the Pentagon and contractor Lockheed Martin Corp., included radar designs and engine schematics used in the crown jewel of American military aircraft.

She was stupid and guilty as hell... The FBI director probably decided he did not want to die suddenly and mysteriously if he recommended prosecution..

Suicide- don't forget. He'd suddenly commit suicide.
Two shots to the back of his own head, or maybe fall asleep on some railroad tracks and get run over by a train.
