Darlin?

Dayum, here I am pushing at pushin up daisies and i get a "darlin". Is that like asking me for a date?

What makes you assume I am not a 1%? Or my tax status? I know first hand they are not typical.

DJT is refreshingly untrained as a POTUS candidate. I like it.
edit on 27-7-2016 by NewzNose because: typo cuz Lucidity got me all excited calling me "darlin".

edit on 27-7-2016 by NewzNose because: text correction.

Oooo another meme! I don't know much about his bankruptcies, always hear the number 4 tossed about, but if it's this the number or true, maybe this is part of what he's hiding.

The you was a collective you. You know, all his supporters who love his "straight talk," which, as it turns out might actually be pretty forumulatic.

I'm still trying to understand.

Trump is bad because he won't share how much he has made. He shouldn't be elected because he's had businesses go bankrupt.

Clearly holding him to a high standard.

Hillary lies repeatedly, and it is ignored because, well, "everyone" lies.

I'm not available. That and my alien DNA requires me to keep at least 6-foot distance from all Trump and Clinton supporters. I break out in hives.

Try to understand that it might expose more of his lies. But hey, maybe he also lied about paying as little taxes as possible.

And your investments...er...um...taxes can pay for all his grandiose schemes.

His corporations went bankrupt, not unlike the corporation United States of America, Inc. , which is now bankrupt and has been bankrupt more times in the last 100+ years than Carter has pills.

With the US bankruptcy and Trump's use of the bankruptcy courts...seems like a match made for success to me.

But don't you see your own hypocrisy?

You excuse one candidates lies but damn another for "possibly" lying?

I know this is an election year, but it is getting ridiculous.

Businesses go bankrupt. It's the nature of the free market.

That's what people don't seem to get. The socialists see bankruptcy as something terrible and would not exist in a socialist or communist society, but under a free market system, sometimes, people fail.

It's life.

His brilliance with money is fundamental to his platform promises, though, isn't it? Yet without the tax returns, we don't know how brilliant he really is, do we?

I do not excuse either candidate for anything. The topic here is Trump and his tax returns. And not wanting to derail this thread from the topic and not wanting it to be turned into just about every single other thread on here by ignorants who have no individual thought on this matter and can only flail on about the "other" candidate is not hypocrisy to any degree or by any definition.

Might be a bit of hidden classic projection there on your part about the hypocrisy. Just a guess.

Trump is a billionaire.

Seems he is doing ok despite his past failures.

Want to stay focused on Trump?

Ok.

He's a success by any standard. Now if you're requiring perfection, then excuse me while I laugh.

no, for me it's the constant BRAGGING. I would care less if it weren't for that.

I say prove it.

I was actually joking, darlin. My dating days are looong gone. The only thing I date these days are my recliner, remote, and this here tablet thingy. I am genuinely happy for your unavailability and wish you all the best in that area!

I have alien DNA too! I am part of a bloodline of aliens who lie, cheat, and steal their way into power in lands far, far away from here. I am the blacksheep and spend much of my time in benevolent ways, thanks to Paypal.

We are all about to see change in its most jawdropping form. Trump has been designated a part of that change. TRUMPet blowing of epic proportions.

So don't vote for him based on bragging.

If that's the bar you're setting, then it should be applied equally.

Goes to a pattern of behaviour, eh?

Donald Trump’s Idea to Cut National Debt: Get Creditors to Accept Less

But Mr. Trump’s statement might show the limits of translating his business acumen into the world of government finance. The United States simply cannot pursue a similar strategy. The government runs an annual deficit, so it must borrow to retire existing debt. Any measures that would reduce the value of the existing debt, making it cheaper to repurchase, would increase the cost of issuing new debt. Such a threat also could undermine the stability of global financial markets.

Yeah. He's absolutely brilliant.

I've managed to maintain financially without bankruptcy just fine. But I have no disregard for people using the laws as they were intended and created to be used.

Oh, I see we're used up the Clinton angle and have moved on to attacking the myriad of sources that have discussed this issue.

Plenty of "sources" from both "sides" have questioned his reluctance to release his returns. FoxNews. The Hill. Many in the GOP.

But nice try at trying to pretend this is some sort of partisan issue.
