Let's have a round 🍸🍻🍹🍷🍺🍹🍸🍺🍻 PICK YOUR POISON

Shot of chilled Soco pls

And I'll second that with kraken open the new old
liter of 46, Rel. It's a great day for the ladies, and I'm
the last to minimalize history. Good thread, and bumped.
[inset] you really should change the ava to one w/ less pout
for awhile

Noticing however the verbiage I bastardized on Ajah's and
others' behalf; I'm a little disappointed that tactics were
evidently used to secure the nomination that weren't even
necessary.

A sad fact is, when overkill is an option-- legality or even
ethics don't enter into the equation anymore, in either
major party. Both are beyond suspect, and with no real
choice of alternatives: due to their stranglehold.

I heard three little words on the tube while watching
the black majik unfold that mean so much now...
".. by whatever means necessary."

Machiavelli's Prince is now the Princess, and the die is cast:
however warped. I will not buy a lamp from its cavity, for
fear it will tip over in my sleep and burn our children. Do I
rejoice in the choice, and yet lament the implications? YES!

What a wonderful theft of democracy by HRC and the DNC, and of course don't forget the CTR's and their support.

The roll call was a great American thing to watch.

Something I would expect from a totalitarian. Wouldn't you? Do you really think it was all that good?

Yes, it was. To watch how an American system in action. Did you watch the roll call? Each state talked ab out their own state and why it was important and then announced how many delegate votes for each candidate.

I have the idea that many who have commented here didn't watch it.

I've asked you a few times to stop saying that. I'm not on anyone's payroll.
And now I'm going to ask that you not ruin this moment. You'll have a billion threads between now and November to wage your battle.

You have been very vocal since you joined. Your post count is quite the number!

I have never noticed anyone come into the boards with so much time and energy to devote to the election. Well done.

I watched it at the expense of painting that bedroom, Rel...
from the hammer out to the end of the roll call. I didn't unglue
until it was time to check in and celebrate history.

For the sake of our freedom of speech and political autonomy,
I respect your choices-- and theirs. However, you may or may
not admit the system can use some work.

Oh WTH, one more shot of 46 because O'Really should be tuned
out right now. Video clip from earlier, protesters attempting to
prevent entrance to the convention center. ROFL

For the love of...look AM, you complained about me using hypotheticals? How about you don't use cryptic phrases instead of real responses.

(Ok. I just typed out a 900 word RANT and removed it. Not directly at you, but more general. I'm going to leave for a while and cool off before I start yelling at people...)

If you look at Sillyolme's posted threads, they aren't mainly about the election at all.

People either complain protesting and free speech isn't allowed or they complain people are exercising it. Pick one.

Great wall? The RNC wasn't open to the public.

If you have 'Breaking news' you should make a thread. Odd, as 50 states and also territories were polled in the roll call and Clinton handily received the most delegate votes. Unless you think Democrats don;t count?

lol

I was too busy with my 900 word rant, which I removed before my previous response.

I did not read your responses. I'm honestly not sure I'm up to it right now. I have very serious personal reasons for not wanting Trump or the Republican platform. I know this is a place where people get bashed for saying things like that. Suffice it to say I'm stepping away before I go full grizzly-momma.

peace,

Those poll numbers are from Dec 2015 and Jan 2016, well before the DNC email leaks. Plus, this doesn't say the sample size, % error, or really any details about the poll taken to actually use it scientifically.

Yall liberals enjoy your convention. I'll laugh at the absurd debates to come and then happily vote libertarian in November

Meh. The system was far more blatant about working against Hillary, in 2008.

I sympathize, but also don't know why Bernie supporters ever thought he had some advantage running as a democrat. If anything, uniting his supporters with Hillary is just going to cause Hillary to adopt bigger spending policies and put that money in our corrupt Congress' hands to spend.

I think Bernie served his purpose, but it wasn't about a revolution.
