Just stop...
Stop attempting to make this a gun issue. Guns would not have helped and read why he had the chance to kill so many....disabled sleeping people.

Not the point. The point is that some people claim a mass attack can't happen without guns, so guns should be banned. Clearly, that isn't the case. Mass killings have happened throughout history, from long before guns existed, and banning guns won't change that. As to whether or not they would have helped here, it depends on the details. Soundly sleeping victims, and a skeleton crew on shift, it's likely they'd have made no difference. Someone awake, seeing the threat in time, maybe.

Except in japan they are not a daily a occurrence like the USA.

Frequency is the key.

Your point will be valid only when japan has mass knife attacks on a regular basis.

The Japanese appreciate and care for the elderly

apparently not

Ubasute (姥捨て?, literally "abandoning an old woman", also called "obasute" and sometimes "oyasute" 親捨て "abandoning a parent") refers to the custom allegedly performed in Japan in the distant past, whereby an infirm or elderly relative was carried to a mountain, or some other remote, desolate place, and left there to die, either by dehydration, starvation, or exposure, as a form of euthanasia. The practice was allegedly most common during times of drought and famine, and was sometimes mandated by feudal officials.

so there are stories that directly go along with what i stated previosly.

not to mention they were a fierce warrior culture as can be known by just reading the history's.

so my statement was not out of line.

are you really worried about a mug icon? I can tell you are the most fierce social Justice warrior, i will cower before you......next time i see you

First of all, ubasute may or may not have happened. It's not well documented, as opposed to THE EXACT SAME THING happening in other cultures. Why don't you go look up senicide? It's not Japanese, genius.

Someone from the right calls me racist, now you call me a SJW. Well I'm glad to be in this country of "ruthless Japs" while you peaceful folks tear each other apart.

With funier i mean: where is this gonna end? and why people do not react? just sit, comment or like. Killing 20 people with 1 knife, in an atack is not easy at all.
Most of the recent attacks seem to be staged to emply terror/horror, obviously with real victims, but the plots are getting too obvious.

Fyi: i really hope irony works in english too.

I will start aligning with the doomporn nutties, because something is definitely on! Next is going to be a teacher killing children, or a priest killing people praying, who knows?
Maybe next, our own goverments stage an invasion on us, "to protect" us from any theat, and put us all in a little bag, its happening all over the world at the same time...

Was he a ninja?

Were his victims unconscious?

Edit: Ah, I see. It was people with heart disabilities. Like filleting fish in a barrel, apparently.

They are not a daily occurrence here, either, no matter how much the media tries to make it appear so.

I agree the world is bad at the moment but let me tell you something my best pal makes documentorys and when this film came out...

Wow made me mad that but I asked my mate to look into making a doc on how thousands of places give great care by great people he asked the BBC and they said "no one will watch it" my pal said to me because the bad stuff sells, they are not going to show you the millions of good things happening everyday just the big bad more rare than good things.

I spoke about this with my partner the other day, because she is Russian and she feels Russia has a hard time in the press, that if Russia does something bad then it's all over the news for days (it was in relation to the recent football violence).

My point of view is that ALL bad things will be reported for as long as they make the news agencies money. I showed her many articles and stories from all over the world about many countries. Russia is certainly not being singled out in my opinion.

The other point is this, good things don't need to be reported! They are good, what do we need to know or do there? Imagine the news papers were filled with all the good, the bad would be buried rather easily! We NEED to highlight the bad so that we can improve and change it.

As for the story, it's disgusting... Reminds me of harold shipman... Such a shame
