So the head of the IMF is facing a court case that could , if convicted , see her serve 12 months in prison , but in January this year with a court case hanging over her she was re-elected as head of the IMF.

Lagarde is accused of paying 445 million dollars to a mate of then French President Nicolas Sarkozy when she was French finance minister in 2008 because the French public bank had allegedly undervalued the football team owner and one time pop star Bernard Tapie's stake in Adidas sportswear in the 90s , Mr Tapie went to court and won the award but Lagarde instead of chalenging the decision decided to pay up without fuss.... it's only public money after all .

It turns out that Mr Tapie also played his part in French politics before becoming a donor and friend to Sarkozy , he served as Minister of City Affairs under Prime Minister Pierre Bérégovoy for a year.

Tapie is no stranger to the legal system either.

In 1993, the same year that Olympique de Marseille won the Champions League, he was accused of fixing the match between his club and minor club Valenciennes;

In 1994, Tapie was put under criminal investigation for complicity of corruption and subornation of witnesses. After a high-profile case against public prosecutor Éric de Montgolfier, he was sentenced in 1995 by the Court of Appeals of Douai to 2 years in prison, including 8 months non-suspended and 3 years of deprivation of his civic rights.

In the 2007 presidential election, he supported Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) candidate Nicolas Sarkozy, despite having been a minister in a Socialist government, and being a member of the Radical Party of the Left (PRG). According to Le Canard enchaîné, the reason for Tapie's ideological inconsistency was portrayed as being about ' tax issues ' which Sarkozy allegedly promised to resolve following his election

It would be about time someone nailed this vile piece of work. She's one of the reasons third world countries are being raped and pillaged by corporations. It wouldn't surprise me if some really good dirt came out about her, the IMF and the Clinton foundation, in the form of conspiracy to defraud certain goverments, nudge nudge wink wink ;-)

It seems that when the sewer pipes break the streets get flooded with lots of sh#t real fast.

To be honest I'm expecting the usual verdict , she's top tier elite so I doubt being caught bloody knife in hand at a murder scene would see her in prison.
She must be doing a good job at the IMF , for them at least.

They are getting ready to sacrifice a few of their high profile puppets to instill a renewed faux confidence in this corrupt system as well as a distraction to other more critical situations. Expect to see a number of these over the next 3 to 6 months.
