they will wait until trump is in office so he will return the e-mail hacking favor by looking the other way

Which still would matter as Russia would still lose in a war with Poland as Germany, France,UK et al would still destroy a Russian invasion.

This isnt the 1980's hell the Russians barely won the war with Georgia, a backward country with no allies.

What world are you living in?

A world were Russia struggled to seize land of a country as weak as Georgia, cant keep its navy afloat and whose military still mostly dates from the cold war.

Hahaha, you know - as they say - "some times it pays to not open your mouth and seem stupid then to open it and remove all doubt". In context of the quote mentioned above, your reply requires no further comment.

Leaving actual nonsense claim aside, Russia could successfully invade Poland only if there was no NATO help. Even so, it would have to be an invasion of staggering proportions, involving mobilization of much more forces than what Russia currently has in active duty force. It'd be a bloody and protracted battle that Russia would win due to its sheer numerical advantage in economy, populace etc.

Of course, that's all assuming Poles actually fight. If morale is such that their resistance falls appart after the initial russian push, then the above is pointless.

Former NATO chief reports...

what a total load of .. i mean seriously... does anyone not see the blatant efforts by a select few to isolate Russia?

It is a total load of crap, the constant bombardment of ''Russia is the enemy''' horsesh1t news headlines...

Does anyone really believe Russia is going to invade Poland for no damn reason, inviting nuclear war that would destroy civilization?... You think Putin and those around him.. dedicated their entire lives and families security... to gain control of Russia then throw it away trying to achieve a Hitlerish attempt at taking Poland?.... what.... the hell?

It is disgusting the efforts my government will go to, to ridicule a man and a nation... it will present nothing but total dishonesty... first... then ridicule the other for being defensive!

I love the subtlety of the propaganda. Russia is using the pandering of a NATO official trying to scare up funding by fear mongering to make it appear that Russia is actually capable of defeating NATO! They are not, but Russia is flattered by being portrayed like that.

The further west the Russian border is, the better the Kremlin likes it, most invasions of Russia have come from the west, Teutonic knights, Sweden, Poland, France, Norsemen, ( the Russ, where 'Russia' gets its name), Germany, twice in one century, so I quite believe the Kremlin would think another push westwards is a viable option, in Europe the only countries ready for war are those about to start one, !914 and 1939 are cases in point.
Although this time the west has a buffer by the name of Ukraine, so the west might get enough warning, although with a Russian left hook through Romania and Bulgaria, it could happen just too quickly for Nato.
