Some recent articles have done a very good job at exposing Trump and his ties to numerous Russian oligarchs and kind of explains why Trump is big on isolationism and not honoring the U.S. commitment to NATO.

It's not secret that Putin and Russia's state media is on the Trump bandwagon, the recent hack of DNC emails has been traced back to Russian hackers working on behalf of the kremlin. Also another hack that stole the DNC research on Trump was also the work of Russian government hackers.

Russian government hackers penetrated the computer network of the Democratic National Committee and gained access to the entire database of opposition research on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to committee officials and security experts who responded to the breach.

Washington Post

Talking Points Memo has also done some research, as it turns out all major US banks have blackballed Donald Trump and refuse to do business with him. Is this the hallmark of a great businessman? to be blackballed by all major U.S. banks and outright refuse to do business with him?

1. All the other discussions of Trump's finances aside, his debt load has grown dramatically over the last year, from $350 million to $630 million. This is in just one year while his liquid assets have also decreased. Trump has been blackballed by all major US banks.

2. Post-bankruptcy Trump has been highly reliant on money from Russia, most of which has over the years become increasingly concentrated among oligarchs and sub-garchs close to Vladimir Putin.

The article also does a good job at exposing Paul Manafort and Carter Page, both men have deep ties to Russia and pro-Russia politicians.

Paul Manafort was the former advisor to Viktor Yanukovych the former pro-Russian Ukranian Prime minister.

Carter Page an advisor to Trump has deep ties to Gazprom, a Russian energy company that is ran by the Russian elites.

4. Then there's Paul Manafort, Trump's nominal 'campaign chair' who now functions as campaign manager and top advisor. Manafort spent most of the last decade as top campaign and communications advisor for Viktor Yanukovych, the pro-Russian Ukrainian Prime Minister and then President whose ouster in 2014 led to the on-going crisis and proxy war in Ukraine. Yanukovych was and remains a close Putin ally. Manafort is running Trump's campaign.

5. Trump's foreign policy advisor on Russia and Europe is Carter Page, a man whose entire professional career has revolved around investments in Russia and who has deep and continuing financial and employment ties to Gazprom. If you're not familiar with Gazprom, imagine if most or all of the US energy industry were rolled up into a single company and it were personally controlled by the US President who used it as a source of revenue and patronage.

6. Over the course of the last year, Putin has aligned all Russian state controlled media behind Trump. As Frank Foer explains here, this fits a pattern with how Putin has sought to prop up rightist/nationalist politicians across Europe, often with direct or covert infusions of money.

Talking Points Memo

Another thing that definitely raises eyebrows about Trump's true intentions is how his campaign was totally indifferent to the GOP platform during the RNC convention, they allowed party leaders to craft one of the most conservative platforms in recent memory. Chock full of religous freedom, anti-immigrant rhetoric and "blue-lives matter" chants.

with one big exception of course.

7. This is one thing that made the Trump convention very different. The Trump Camp was totally indifferent to the platform. So party activists were able to write one of the most conservative platforms in history. Not with Trump's backing but because he simply didn't care. With one big exception: Trump's team mobilized the nominee's traditional mix of cajoling and strong-arming on one point: changing the party platform on assistance to Ukraine against Russian military operations in eastern Ukraine. For what it's worth (and it's not worth much) I am quite skeptical of most Republicans call for aggressively arming Ukraine to resist Russian aggression. But the single-mindedness of this focus on this one issue - in the context of total indifference to everything else in the platform - speaks volumes.

Talking Points Memo

On top of all this Trump has made some very disturbing remarks about NATO and how the U.S. wouldn't assist other NATO members in the case of Russian aggression. Destroying NATO has been one of Russia's main goals since NATO was created.

So Trump is opposed to further aid to Ukraine against Russian aggression, so much so that he made it a priority to change the GOP's stance on this issue. He's also opposed to NATO and assisting other NATO members against a Russian invasion.

Two things that would no doubt benefit Putin.

It definitely helps explain why Russian hackers have been so interested in hacking the DNC and damaging it as much as possible. From hacking DNC emails to stealing the DNC's opposition research on Trump.

Also another person that was not included in the articles linked above is Michael Flynn, the man who was one of the leading candidates to become Trump's VP pick.

Michael Flynn is employed by Russian state media.

After retiring from service with the U.S. government, Flynn began appearing semi-regularly as an analyst on RT, a Kremlin-aligned English-language news outlet, as an analyst. In 2015, Flynn attended a gala dinner in Moscow in honor of RT, where he was seated two seats away from Russian president Vladimir Putin.[25] Before attending the event, Flynn gave a paid talk on world affairs to a group

CrowdStrike stands fully by its analysis and findings identifying two separate Russian intelligence-affiliated adversaries present in the DNC network in May 2016. On June 15, 2016.

CrowdStrike is a cyber security technology Company hired to investigate and trace the origins of the hacks.

So, let me get this straight.

Someone hacks the DNC.

Extremely damaging leaks arise from the emails, many people in the
top Democratic structure are found to be colluding in election fraud,
and some how this points to Trump?

There is zero evidence linking to Russia, unless we are talking
about Hillary's own ties to Uranium One, and the Russian Bank
that wants her blessing and Sanctions removed.

Russians have given her a crap load of money through lobbing
this 2016 election season alone!

Why should we be spending tax money protecting Europe, Japan, South Korea, etc. We are not the world police. NATO can protect their own.

There's no evidence in the hacked emails that proves "election fraud".

And I provided the evidence linking the hackers to the Russian Government.

A cyber security contractor called Crowd Strike traced the hackers to Russia.

That is a very smart, very dangerous man playing the long game. I equally respect and loathe him.

This is a stretch to say the least.

I have no problem getting the hell out of Ukraine as well as a great many other places.

I am sick of the world police tag, and the fact that the world hates us for it.

I am against globalism as well. Bring our boys home, defend our borders, and spend all that saved money on AMERICA.

Your girl Hillary is the one you should be focusing on for selling her influence to the highest bidder.

Your self appointed title says a lot.

That`s not what he said at all, he said that NATO countries need to start paying more for their own defense so that america isn`t picking up the tab for most of it. considering that america is 19 trillion dollars in debt i think that america is no longer prosperous enough to foot the majority of the bill for europe`s defense.

I heard Trump handed over a large percentage the rights to mine uranium ore over to Putin/Russia after his spouse recieved unrealistic speaking fees and their family foundation recieved millions more.

Wait...that was the Clintons.

Close enough!

Guccifer is Romanian and Romanian also starts with "R" and ends with "ian"!

More than enough evidence to restart the cold war with Russia.

Hmm. Warmonger Establishment tactic number 1. If all else fails, claims your political opponents are Russian puppets.

Sorry, not buying it. They said the same thing about Nigel Farrage.

You say that as if it is a bad thing. Here's a thought, how about the two most modern world leaders actually get their sh97 together and be friends, how about that?

Hawks, you guys make me sick.

One of a cornicopia of reasons Hilary should be executed.
4 mens lives also come to mind ,but you shouldn't execute incompetant people.
