The UK members are really going to have to work on extending their bedtime if they're going to party with folks on this side of the pond!

Haha behave!
I've taken a lazy long weekend and was drinking from mid afternoon yesterday.
I'll teach you how to drink properly, don't you worry!

We're pretty similar to the US according to wiki:
en.wikipedia.org...

The alcohol we consume is interesting broken down between beer/wine/spirits, but the booze brought in from the EU is presumably not included so I imagine the figure is much higher. I could go out and purchase 'tax free' drink from eastern EU right now, same with 'tax free' wine from northern France. So can most people I know.

I'd love a drinking challenge with someone from Belarus though, number one drinkers apparently, have a look.

It's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts remember.

I like the winning as well, even drunken darts we always play a final 'closest to bulls eye' final shot to decide the winner when we can't finish the game due to coordination and vision issues.

...would have to agree pool rules if we ever met up with US members over a pint or few.
Some of the arguments I've seen over pool rules lol!

I've been in a few fights over pool rules over the years, I remember working in a mates resteraunt years ago and in a lock in we were playing drunk darts under arm, from behind the bar through a serving hatch. It must have been a good 20 feet to the board and in the morning we had to move loads of pictures to hide all the holes in the wall, no idea who won though.

Nope heavy petting and bombing in the shallow end.

The restraining order is due to be lifted next year though.

Hahaha, you reminded me of this municipal swimming pool sign back from 70's 80's Britain!

Well!

I certainly hope they've loosened up a few of those rules.

Interesting, to me, that drinking isn't on the list of prohibited things.

Drunk darts is fun. It's even more fun when you have to hold the dart board while somebody else throws.

Lol, smashed anywhere is accepted if you are not being a prick.

I fell through British customs/border point a few years ago after getting back from a crazy weekend in Ibiza.
First I brought the zig zag crowd rail thing down by trying to go under it as nobody was in the line, got snagged on my backpack and I dragged it behind me unaware.
Then when I untangled myself I walked past the guards forgetting to show my passport, they grabbed me but laughed when they saw I was just hammered and I showed them the passport saying sorry lol.

British 'authority' really is so not scary at all...I reckon I'd proper behave myself if an ATS meet was in the states, some of the horror stories I read on ATS.
[/shudders]

You would have been shot dead just getting out of bed if you were here.

Now, Augustus, don't scare him!

Mr. Grain, it just depends on whose bed you're getting out of here!

He's tough. A little violence never hurt anyone.

I can't imagine being scared of UK police or other 'authority' types here.
From phone footage I see online I imagine I'd be dead just for my big mouth.

...mental note if I ever visit the states
