They are trying to make a play on words implying Trump is hateful but imo the colors of the signs highlight Trump's name and come across as a Trump endorsement.

Like, "Love Trump's Hate". Fixed that way.

If their propaganda was any good, the crowd would be more engaged and louder, correct? Have you not said yourself that the crowd seems a bit indifferent at times?

Compare that to the RNC that hung on every word about Hillary, Benghazi, etc. The same terms and words over and over.

Easy to tell who's propaganda works better.

I think you may be mistaking "propaganda" for "a better message" or "message of substance".

I'm glad that you have noticed how much more attentive, enthusiastic and interested, the delegates were at the other convention.

I know what they are trying to do with the LOVE TRUMPS HATE signs but Trump's name stands out more to me on the signs. Almost comes across as an endorsement.

That hit me too.

Stands out big as day!

There was little substance to that convention. It was a hate Hillary fest. Even if you don't agree with the Dems, you have to admit they are at least discussing their platform and what they want to do in the coming years.

I do not think it's a hostile environment. The messages are well received, but perhaps you were expecting the DNC attendees to be as riled-up and foaming at the mouth as we witnessed at the RNC.

There's a difference in the people.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any issues with this convention.

Different thinking, different style.

I think some posters must be watching something different then I am

I would have nixed the "Love Trump Hate" signs, (don't know whose idea that was), and I would have substituted those anti-Trump videos, mocking him, with heart warming mini documentaries of people doing good things, like Flint Michigan water drives, etc., bringing it back to middle class issues, instead of Trump oligarchy issues.

I'm on the fence about that.

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. You can't just promote nice all the time.

You have to show you can stand up against a "bully" type.

Oh, and BTW - - - I was a long time Republican - - - will never be a Democrat. But, just can not support Trump. I don't think he's qualified for the position.

Maybe it's because this is a unity theme, but this whole day has been identity politics. Division.

Yeah they ARE.

PA. The birth of this nation.

A time when neither women or 'blacks' any ANY RIGHTS.

It appears the Democrats are the ones talking about equal rights and application of the laws for women and minorites...yet they are being called racist and sexist for it.

Yeah, hasn't that been settled for like 50 yrs?

Perhaps you perceive it that way when a party is willing to bring everyone together, including people of other colors, sexual preferences and religions.

Why that would bother you is beyond me, but telling.
