This dude sounds like he's trying to talk around a way too big bite of sandwich. Moment of silence? That was like a second.

Nope, just the general annoyance at having time to kill when I could be putting it to productive use.

:-)

Fair enough

Been there - I know how you feel. Exactly

Things will turn around

That's the funniest thing about this - it's nothing short of comedy gold.

Dems trying to conduct the DNC as if nothing is wrong. This is what a contested convention actually looks like. And again they try to ignore it.

Its amazing isn't it.

They are so dead set on making the argument and focus on racism, sexism, bigotry, sexuality and yet their emails exposed they are guilty of it.

They ignore the fact that each one of those issues is effected by corruption , hence they never get addressed despite decades of pandering. Yet not a peep of corruption and conflict of interest on the real issues that need to be addressed.

1. Congregational term limits

2. campaign financing reform.

3. Lobbying reform

4. doing away with super-pacs

5. Revolving door between gov't and private sector

6. Transparency

You know the things that Bernie talked about but pissed all over once he endorsed that crooked hillary.

More like this:

We have laws that are ignored on a whim which creates chaos. We would like to see the laws on the books enforced so that we can see which ones need to go or be modified.

We do not need new ones to fix problems created by refusing to enforce ones we already have.

For example, why pass a bunch of gun laws to protect people against incidents like the Kate Steinle shooting when enforcing our immigration laws should have taken care of it already? But because the city where it happened was a Sanctuary City that is allowed to flout Federal immigration laws with impunity, it created the kind of chaos that protected and enabled the man who shot Kate Steinle to commit the crime he committed.

I have a problem with picking and choosing when the LAW matters.

That create institutionalized RACISM putting an entire group of non citizens over this country LEGAL citizens.

That is the hypocrisy of it, but I suppose they couldn't change their speeches after the DNC were outed as bigoted.

I didn't see a lot of enthusiasm for the veterans. Or was that my imagination?

Not much, but then there are a lot of people focused on booing every mention of Clinton

I see an audience that is full of people for whom the realization of how much their candidate got screwed over by the DNC is just starting to sink in really deep after the email release Friday. The closer it gets to Hillary Clinton's acceptance speech, the worse will be for those true Bernie supporters.

And this is only a few hours into the first day. Great entertainment.

Need more popcorn.

I'm watching and listening. I heard some tepid cheering but not a lot. I'm being honest with what I see.

I noticed that too, Nothing at all in terms of a response.
I think these people know that they can't throw stones given the recent revelations
